I'm on a new account after my old one was permabanned (I use it for trolling when I'm drunk, prease understanduru.) So I'm basically stuck in "noob friendly" subreddit hell because nearly every single one autobans you unless your account is a year old with a niggerillion karma.

Every single god damn one has a 12 volume encyclopedia's worth of rules. "Your post MUST contain a flair" "PedoTranny32 made a similar post 8 years ago, make sure yours is unique!" "your post MUST include a question mark at the end" "Your post doesn't seem open-ended enough to allow for discussion!" "This sub is currently in 'faggot friday' mode, no posts by new users are allowed!" "A recent post from this sub recently got popular, no new users allowed!" "You don't have enough karma" "your account isn't old enough!" "your account has enough karma but you don't have enough karma from this specific subreddit, try telling other users how much you believe they're women first!" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
They managed to recreate the "you need job experience for a job but you cant get a job because you have no experience" system. Impressive

Not liking something is a sign of autism? Having preferences is proof of the 'tism? They're describing ordinary human behaviors
It's been this way for ages now. If you go on other social media like TikTok or Instagram you'll see so many reels of normal human behaviors marked as autistic or ADHD. It's embarrassing. I've even had people I know try and equate having pretty common hobbies as autism coded.
I'd call these people autistic as an insult (as in retarded,) but do I think they actually have autism? No, they're just trying to force their normal "boring," ""neurotypical"" behaviors to fit into the mold of being autistic. They want to have that 'autism' label because it's cute, and quirky, and fashionable, or whatever. I guarantee not liking predictable films or finding certain topics boring is not some quality that's unique to autists lmao
An acquaintance lamented on Facebook recently that he was NOT diagnosed as autistic. He got compassionate comments and all I could think was how fucking weird it was to be upset by such an outcome. That and, if you really think you are autistic, why not just implement the workarounds people with it do anyway and see if they help with your life?

I've seen some psychology inclined people (those with actual degrees and/or practices) note that Autism and ADHD seems to be over diagnosed for those who probably fit cluster B personality traits more. And it kind of makes sense when the labels are used as shields to criticism rather than tools to help fix said behaviors.

I don't know if this was on this website or somewhere else on the internet but there was a really neat post outlining how the definition of autism was actually quite sensible back when DSM-III was a thing, sort-of made sense when they introduced Asperger's Syndrome in DSM-IV and made completely bonkers with DSM-V and the introduction of the autism spectrum. If anyone know what I'm talking about I'd be glad for the link to the original because it seemed pretty insightful and I regret not saving it.

I don't know how to embed threads and am too lazy to look it up at the moment :| but was this the post you were thinking of?

edit: apparently it embeds automatically lmao

The thing is simple:
If you don't have any attachment to nostalgia, people or emotions, you have a big part of autism (the functional one).
Now, if you have just a little of those or a few friends, you're just a faggot poser seeking attention.
You'll never endure the actual pain autists suffer. SUFFAAAAH

I just found this funny is all.
Lovely video @BasedIfTrue

I don't use TikTok LMAO... Okay, so where is this pattern recognition coming from? Facebook? Reddit? Your favorite anti-woke grifter’s Twitter feed? You think that’s any better, or that your patterns aren't just an algorithm spoon-feeding you the same three caricatures to keep your blood pressure up? You’re trying to sound like a high-IQ social analyst, but you’re just a guy who spends his life getting triggered by memes of women who wouldn’t breathe the same air as you. Calling pattern recognition the essence of intelligence is hilarious coming from someone too dim to realize they’re being played by a basic feedback loop....from a fucking social media algorithm 🤣🤣 It’s the ultimate irony: you claim they all look and act the same while you’re typing out the exact same I’m an enlightened observer cringe that every other terminally online loser has been using since 2016. You give off Reddit Mod vibes I am an observer of pattern recognition, which is the lowest baseline of intelligence, and you lack social media pattern recognition some of the most cringe shit I have ever read, jesus christ.

In my 70 plus years of life I have learned a few things. Men who talk like women by using feminine tones etc can't be trusted and men who simp for women can't be trusted. There is never an exception to those rules.

Let me guess, the sub is full of trannies.

On the subject of reddit's tech moralfaggotry, it reminds me of emulator subs, in which you're labeled as the Anti-Christ if you dare to suggest you use an emulator to play 30 year old games you didn't purchase legally. They can be such fags with this, pretending to be le heckin' good boys who only use their legally made backups from legally purchased games that they totally own for debug reasons only. I get part of this charade is a desire to not get into legal trouble, but given the variety of piracy subs that operate as normal without pretending to be on the good side of the law, the emulation community in reddit comes off as faggy in comparison.

I can not respect a man who tells me he's too scared to download torrents and/or play pirated games. Many such cases these days.

A lot of emulation is for nintendo games, which attract the kind of autist that loves the "leave the billion dollar company alone" shit. It wouldn't surprise me some of them think it is normal to have a JP, PAL and NTSC model NES/SNES/whatever laying around to dump the BIOS from.

This was done to remove Asperger's name (he was a mid-century German) without any regard for the obvious problems it would cause. It also reflects the modern meta-strategy of making every diagnosis broad so that insurance companies cannot play talmudic word games over what treatments they will cover.

I think the reason autistic traits survived natural selection is that there is an ecological niche for people resistant to social pressure and dedicated to narrow topics. There must exist people willing to spend insane amounts of time solving a hyperspecific problem for the same reason there must exist people who genuinely yearn for frontline combat. In both cases, we don't understand nature's design until we point the mutant berserker at his target like a battering ram and he demonstrates his terrifying purpose.

That (especially when they whip out the 'its available on Nintendo online' excuse, like anyone in their right mind would want to shell out a yearly sum for a shitty Switch emulator.) But to be honest the opposite annoys me too, when people start to try to moralize about when piracy is good. In general I guess I find it retarded to try to moralfag about piracy at all. Like when redditors say "remember, it's always morally acceptable to pirate Nintendo games/adobe products/whatever," usually relating to the issue du jour is (like ai, in the case of adobe.)

I have nothing against piracy. I do it pretty much whenever it's a viable option to get a product, and I know it doesn't really have any effect on the bottom line of the corpos. There's not much of a reason not to unless you're a cyber security-illiterate moron who can't figure out how to use anti virus. That being said, I wish redditors would drop the pretense that they're noble by downloading Pokemon roms or some shit. Just admit you're doing it because you want to, stop trying to manufacture some justification to satisfy your retarded cognitive dissonance.

It is kind of funny though, if you think about it from their perspective. If piracy really was theft (it's not, but they think it is, so bear with me,) then it should be wrong in their eyes, as stealing is something that most civilized people can admit is wrong on principle. But if the company does something they don't like, they're fine "stealing " Their values system is entirely based not on whether the action is right or wrong, but whether or not the target "deserves it." But that shouldn't come as a surprise at this point- extremely in line with what I've come to expect from them lol

You've discovered moral relativism, the destroyer of stable societies.

Redditors can be so obnoxiously unhelpful with tech support questions. When my father passed away his Pixel phone was PIN locked and I learned that a factory reset doesn't clear the PIN.
The way to troll redditors into actually answering a question isn't to ask a question. It's to say something completely wrong that they will feel compelled to correct.
