I'm so close to warranting an ICE Derangement Syndrome thread because this is ridiculous. Never, ever expect a subreddit to be 100% apolitical, but always expect for the politics to be talked about to always be left wing. After all, brigading a subreddit with leftist ideologies is a GOOD thing but anything that's a semblance of right-wing or anything not leftist-approved? BANNED! Everyone's a Nazi! GESTAPO!! JAIL THEM ALL!

You genuinely have more chances of seeing apolitical conversation between literally so literal evil bigot racists than one on Reddit.

Now we just have to wait for an update where he either A) his lens got stolen by an illegal immigrant or B) breaks it while running from ICE.

To people totally fair to the Redditor this is solid advice. Showing up with with a camera lens that looks like a huge ass scope to a protest is a terrible idea.

The glow's so bright not even my glow-protection glasses can shield my eyes from what I had to scroll through from Reddit. It's a real mess in there that I'm not surprised if subreddits get necroed from the dead just so some random bot can complain about ICE.

I did my usual thing of venturing into the cesspool of /r/all for a minute to see the posts about the new ICE shooting and this was right near the top. Cat bongos is taking a stand against Trump... uh, what the fuck is cat bongos?

Oh, "it is what it sounds like." Alright... So, a niche subreddit for people who post clips of themselves smacking their cats is near the top of /r/all and has 12k upvotes in a few hours because they heroically declared that orange man is bad.

This is how their propaganda works step by step

1. You (gullible Reddit man child) watches video on reddit of ICE agent shooting leftist agitator. "Wow" you say, "this is genocide!"
2. Go directly interfere with federal law enforcement conducting a raid or arrest of an illegal immigrant
2. When said police detain or fight you make a huge scene and then try and murder them
3. Get killed, maced or beat up
4. Video of you getting shot and or harmed by ICE in self defense is uploaded to Reddit.com and is used as evidence Trump is LITERALLY HITLER and ICE is the Gestapo.
5. A manchild watches the video of you getting shot on Reddit "wow, this is literally Nazism I should so something!"

Rinse and repeat. This has happened like 5 times already.

Case in point: cat subs. Should be a casual, fun subject that can be universally appreciated, regardless of anything going on in the heads of the rest of the people posting there. But nooooo, Redditors have to make a political performance everywhere, including a huffy "you can't sit with us," message in a sub about... cats. Literally cats. If you're not terminally, performatively butthurt about people getting blown away because they don't know how to act around law enforcement, then you're not allowed to post about cats.
