We are a fetish, WMAF (White Male/Asian Female), kink subreddit. Everything we do on this subreddit is anathema to the white Christian nationalist movement that Trump and his MAGA base represent.
While in the past everyone can ignore politics and go on our separate lives, I feel now every free person in America, if she or he can speak up, must speak up, because America is quickly becoming a fascist country, and those freedoms we once hold dear, may not be here for much longer.
People say we should leave politics out of porn, but politics is omnipresent, and though you can try to avoid politics, politics will come to you in the end. I can't stand by and watch innocent protesters being shot in the street, disappeared into torture prisons, their human rights being trampled, not in some third world country, but allegedly in the country that once championed for human rights and universal values around the globe. America is now no longer recognizable to me and I can no longer stand by.
We are a very small niche subreddit and this post won't make a dint in the sea of content, neither on reddit or anywhere else, but I don't care. Everyone must speak out now when we still have a voice, before it's too late.
Our Democracy is on the line now. Our very way of life is being threatened, not by Russia or China, but by the enemy within. By the dictator-wannabe Donald Trump and his fascistic cult followers.
So if you are Trump supporter, I can't change your mind, but mark my words, you will be judged by history. And for all the Trump enablers, rest assured, following orders was not a justifiable defense at the Nuremberg trials. And by all that is holy and just in this universe, there will be a Nuremberg trial when all this madness is over. There will be reckoning for the wicked and evil powerful forces in this country.
