I think all these losers were secretly hoping Trump would win so they could enjoy their protest/#Resistance/apocalypse porn a little longer. The only thing more hilarious than watching these idiots work themselves up into a pants-shitting frenzy is how angry they get when you point out their porn isn't real. Obviously they're opposed to these things happening, but they are so immensely invested in the seriousness of their porn that deep down, they want that moral high of being able to say "I told you so", like a doomsday prepper.

Progressives would rather live in a world where all of these horrible things they describe are really happening and we are all perpetually minutes away from the inevitable end of the world, just so they can take another hit off of the crack pipe of moral indignation and boast about how much more virtuous, responsible and caring they are then the rest of us alt-right crypto-Nazis. And their master plan for dealing with the coming doom is to build absurd castles in the air or make up windmills to tilt against. Anything to be seen as someone who is Doing Something and Very Serious about this doomed future we are conga-lining towards.

The more one becomes emotionally invested in this narrative, the more difficult it is to realize that it isn't real. Evidence doesn’t mean a thing to a Believer, no matter how fucked up their beliefs are.

You can get a n-word exemption pass from the hospital. I have one because I used to say nigger all the time and get beat up by black folks. It's a card I keep in my wallet explaining that it's illegal to physically retaliate if I call someone the n-word. Anytime I say nigger I take it out and show it to the black people nearby and they're legally required to stand down. It's saved my life a few times.
The biggest problem I've encountered while using it is that most niggers don't know how to read. I started carrying an mp3 player with a little portable speaker that recites the text on the card in a rap song. I've found that's really helped connect with the urban youth.

And the funny part is that I really only see their opponents getting to actually do this, thanks to the endless cycle of "it's not happening, you're just a bigot" -> "it's happening but here's why it's a good thing" -> "it has actually always been happening and the people complaining out about it are the real problem"

To be honest I think a lot of people on both sides secretly (or not so secretly) wish for that since it would mean death camps for progressives.
