I dont doubt that the Mexican girl is very intelligent, but to be smarter than Einstein and Hawking? Also I thought IQ according to Reddit was a myth/pseudoscience, but these people are reporting that she has an IQ of 162? Even this other Reddit thread that's talking about this girl is talking about how the article shouldn't be focusing on IQ since it hardly means anything.

there's still a distinct difference between an npc post and an AI post in 2026 tho. Probably won't last much longer but you can tell when fleshy hands typed something for the moment.

I think they’re paranoid and much more likely to throw around AI accusations now that they know they’ve already been fooled. Redditors had no idea they were being studied like lab rats when AI bots from the university of Zurich infiltrated r/changemyview. If the researchers hadn’t disclosed it after the fact, would they have ever caught on?

Never. The R*dditard believes himself to be overly smart and cultured while being neither. Unless the college officially revealed that fact, they would have accused you of being a hoaxmonger and trying to soil the image of R*ddit as the promoter and base builder of AI slop and whatnot.

Still, the fact they trained AI with NPCs is pretty funny

You can tell AI comments from regular people, when the person who got the AI to write it spent no time disguising it as such. It only takes a tiny bit of effort to make them less obvious. The writing style thing is partly one way of discerning them, but LLMs are trained on human created text, so they actually reproduce human style writing, so it's not a surefire way.

Honestly the "clearly an AI comment" is just another way for them to dismiss things they don't agree with, without giving it any thought. That's why those threads of NPC dialogue remain.
