So given the rarity of mass shootings despite the huge number of gun's I guess they're completely safe to have in a society?
Thanks vox!

What is wrong with redditors? They don't have any capacity to make rational decisions like adults. A normal healthy society would look at these symptoms and say "what the fuck are we injecting ourselves with?"

But dude, she wants to go clubbing!

Press X to doubt that this one is a real bong. Says UK but uses many American phrases and has a really telling US writing style in general-- most obvious example being "PMS" instead of "PMT".

What is it with redditors and faking being bongs?

Why do they never seem to latch onto Australia etc. in the same way?

OP of the first one is French living in the UK.

Probably been posted already, just found out about the subreddit /r/sounding. Despite the name, its very nsfl, and has nothing to do with sounds or hearing, rather instead involving inserting things into your... well i think you might be able to guess. Im suprised its allowed on reddit, yet /r/watchpeopledie is banned.

Heres the link, you have been warned

Supposedly, "female" is a sexist term now according to our redditors. I have never seen it mentioned anywhere else but on reddit. Because it's supposedly used by Incels. :story:

Sperging, but the only reason "female" was chucked into the pile of no-no words is because of manosphere denizens using it. Said denizens would refer to each other as men/boys, while women were called females. It was the lopsided usage which was deemed suspect.

Of course, the internet nukes any and all nuance so now just saying the word "female" is high bigotry.

Yeah, they don't want to be referred as "female" as a nous because muh sexism. This is what you get for being so privileged that you just make up shit to cry and whine about.

Probably doesn't help that troons are highly offended by the implication that they are in any way different than actual fe/male humans. I'm old enough to remember that it started out as "trans women are women trapped in male bodies" and morphed into "trans women are literally female and always have been but still give me money for boobs and an amhole".

A lot of people on Reddit to this, I think it's because the site is mostly American so they pick up terms and phrases there rather than from people they talk to in real life. British and Irish redditors talk about N95 masks rather than FFP3, birth control and Plan B instead of contraception and the morning after pill, etc.

It's a sure sign that they have no friends off the internet.

Not to mention, American English is very widely used on the Internet in general unlike the UK English.
