The funniest sub on Reddit right now is /r/PurplePillDebate. It's literally pages and pages of incels and incel-adjacents devising pseudoscientific theories about why women won't fuck them.

Women won't fuck you over the internet because it's literally impossible, most computers don't even come with CD drives anymore there's no place for input.

Another fake story from r/entitledparents
All it's missing is a fedora...
I wonder if there's potential in a (single) thread for the various personal anecdote subreddits like r/entitledparents or r/choosingbeggars, since they share some common phenomena - people posting mundane, boring personal stories that only loosely fit the sub's theme because of their urge to participate, even when they have nothing of true value to share, or people who take some liberties with their storytelling, exaggerating and twisting many details of their story to make it fit better or to make themselves look better, to the extent where it's obvious even if you don't have the other side of the story that they're bending the truth, or even just cases where the redditor is very clearly in the wrong but the commenters go along with them, congratulating them on berating that "karen" who was totally being a bitch about the fact that she was charged extra money for things she never purchased, she was definitely in the wrong, because the OP said so!
There's also been a lot of coverage of these subreddits by big youtube channels that just steal posts and slap them in a monetized video (lazy fucks), attracting lots of outsiders (mainly dumb kids) to come in and make hilariously low-quality content in an attempt to scrounge something together to try and get featured on one of the channels. I feel there's big potential here...

Reddit man gives a smoking hot take on how to solve gun violence in the United States after a Mexican gangbanger commits a robbery turned murder in a theater. It's simple, just ban all guns and spend several trillion dollars buying them "back" for double the cost of the guns (implying the government owned them in the first place).
Highlights include him mentioning hes gotten robbed at knifepoint at least 4 times in his life like its no big deal.
Edit: thanks for all the downvotes on my 3000 upvote post

Never mentions how this happened in California where gun laws are some of the most strict in the nation and it was committed by someone who is 20 years old.

The best/worst ones are when someone gets a good response to one post that may have only been mildly embellished and then tries to turn it into a series to keep raking in the internet points. At a point it blatantly turns into a (poor) creative writing exercise with character arcs, dialogue, storytelling tropes, and factual inaccuracies that some people try to point out in the comments but are ignored. Fatpeoplestories used to be lousy with these years ago, people would post 10-20 part series that got more unrealistic with each edition.

Even our ruling class here isn't this dumb, they know what would happen if they tried this. 100% this is some eurotake. Even if you subtract boomer larping about 'from my cold dead hands', some people will shoot at the cops over this, and it would lead to real civil unrest, on a scale they wouldn't be prepared for.

The post is emblematic of what I hate about reddit - massive upvoting of gay hottakes instead of real content. The whole system encourages it, and if you sort most subreddits by their most popular posts of all time, it's usually nothing but that kind of material.

Stupid eurofag redditor. Does he know you can make a STEN gun with $50 worth of parts from Home Depot? And that making a full auto, pistol caliber firearm is the easiest fucking thing to do?

The anime subreddit is pretty hilarious. Someone made a post about how they like anime ass and tits and a lot of the replies are the usual gender nonsense boiling down to "Think of the women!" or "YOU ARE A STRAIGHT MALE". It's almost as if the vast majority of weebshit is catered towards straight teenage boys in Japan because that's the primary target market for this stuff.

Another thing I forgot to mention about r/entitledparents is how many kids just use it to complain about random shit their own parents do. "My EP took away my phone as punishment! but all my friends are there!!!!! this is literally abuse!!!!!!!!!!!"

If women can end the discussion by saying "then don't watch it, incel", men should be able to end the discussion say "then don't watch it, bitch".
There's nothing wrong with certain pieces of media being made for certain groups.

Meh, being robbed at knife point is no big deal, have had it happen before. You just give them your fake wallet full of expired cards

Still a stupid arguement against guns though and a very stupid way to solve gun violence

A 60 year old man claims he's using his "son's account" to post a confession in r/Offmychest stating that he murdered two innocent people. Since he mentions jihadists, I'm guessing he was from a Muslim country and likely immigrated to the West. If this is actually true, I don't know why you'd be using Reddit, let alone your son's Reddit account and giving your own alleged name to post this dark confession.

hahahha I saw this yesterday and couldn't stop laughing. This is either written by a literal child or someone that has clue zero about how things and people in the real world work.

Its written by a euro who clearly has no idea how the United States works. I mean New York passed their SAFE act Assault Weapons Ban 10 years ago during the Obama years and the compliance rate for that was widely thought to be in the single/low double digits and was in a more liberal state when people trusted the government a bit more. Imagine the results of something similar done on a national level let alone what this guy is proposing.
