Various parts of CA also do voluntary gun buybacks, and the level of grift and noncompliance even in a voluntary system is incredible. They post their Ls on instagram and do press tours on local news channels claiming to have bought back "hundreds of dangerous weapons" and they're all either brand new pipe guns a guy made to profit off the buyback (under 10 dollars of hardware and an hour of work could get you over a hundred dollars by just barely meeting the legal definition of a firearm) or rusted hulks that are barely identifiable as a firearm.

Oh come on, it would be easy. All they have to do is call a Constitutional Convention by getting two-thirds of the state legislatures to ask for it, or just propose an amendment in Congress and get two-thirds support from the entire House and Senate. Easy peasy. And then after that just get it approved by the legislatures of 75 percent of the States.

Surely this can be easily done.

This is likely some typical Reddit bugman karma farming, like that other story a few pages ago about the "kid" getting bullied because his classmates found his mom's Onlyfans. Redditors love making up lies to see the karma number go up.

The Reddit consensus is that the Muslim bridesmaid OP is definitely an asshole, but it has nothing at all to do with Islam and is wholly the result of her not self-reflecting and educating herself or some shit like that. Yeah on top of that, I was personally offended on behalf of genderfluids when the highest-rated comments were talking about how Tori had always and forever been a woman. Seems like the respondents should take an introspective look at their own bigotry because Tori may well have identified as a man last week.

Pulled this comment out because it's so highly rated and it's ridiculous, especially the last part where the redditor tells a muslim woman that she needs to seek out "Trans Muslims" so they can explain Islam to her. Because apparently troons are actually leading experts in the religion that would stone them to death or throw them off rooftops. That entire subreddit is peak reddit. I'm also pretty sure that like almost all stories on reddit, 99% of scenarios on here are made up.

Weirdly they (sort of) are in Iran. IDK what is with non-Arab Muslims, but Iran has forced sex changes for homos and Afghanistan has widespread cultural homosexuality despite both societies alleging to be devout Muslims. Needless to say the Hadiths don't have anything good to say about either practice.
