So anyway, I've been an occasional redditor for like 10 years maybe, mostly just to read /subscribe to certain topics, and even though I don't post much if at all, I eventually will say something that gets me permanently banned. I must have had like 10 accounts, maybe more. Most of the bans happened cos I couldn't help myself and posted something negative about trannies or something like that.

Anyway, the other day I commented in some thread that annoyed me and, by Reddit standards, insulted a tranny. Perma ban right away. I clicked on the appeal link, I didn't actually mean to appeal - but said something like "why don't you spend your time banning snark subreddits that drive people to suicide , instead of handing out bans for complete bullshit , you're not any better than the Kiwi Farms you claim to despise"

Their response shortly after:

Never heard before of a Reddit ban being lifted.

Depends what subreddit you were on, you might have gotten lucky and a non-crazy mod lifted the ban. Otherwise you are the only person to have shamed a tranny janny who's just been insulted into something resembling self-reflection.

That said, spending time socking on a website where you feel compelled to insult it's userbase is probably time better spent elsewhere.

While you're right, it wasn't exactly insulting another poster per se, rather a general comment in the news subreddit.

As a woman it's hard sometimes to listen over and over about trannies being real women and shit like that

I tried that on bluesky but got yeeted almost immediately, though it may have had something to do with calling the account "Pajeet S. Poolinson." How can I learn from you?
lol!

Just search for common Indian first and surnames, put a “namaste” in your bio, and if you’re feeling cheeky, take someone’s face from another website like LinkedIn and use the same pfp

The only downside is you have to look at a jeet’s face every time you type
