Maybe poking at it with sex toys, but also a lot of force runs through your pelvic floor. Swapping out natural muscle and tissue and installing an artificial hole weakens things. Like real vaginas are extremely muscular.

other surgeons stay away because they have no fucking clue what the original surgeon did to create the axe wound in the first place, they have no idea what's wrong with it, and they don't know how to 'fix' it or if it is fixable at all.

that's just how neovaginas are: unstable, fragile, prone to all sorts of complications. a human body is simply not made to be violently rearranged in such grotesque ways.

Both. In Thailand a surgeon won't touch another surgeons work out of respect.

In the West it's to avoid malpractice lawsuits & because they have no idea what to do with the mess.

I don't know if they have more nerve endings, but at the very least, if the head of the penis and the clitoris are analogous structures, the same number of nerve endings are distributed across a larger area (the head of a penis being like a quarter and the clitoris being smaller than the eraser on the end of a pencil), so if you chop the penis head down to the smaller size, you have proportionally less sensitivity. (Assuming you didn't accidentally nick some essential sensation carrying nerve in the process. )
