I can barely summon the energy to play this, it's that bland. The only upside is that it's free on game pass; can't imagine how angry I'd be if I paid for it.

Can't say I'm surprised that this isn't any good though, as soon as I saw the main cast was a bunch of "quirky", "modern" mystery meats I was wary. It's not a sure way to tell how a game's gonna be but it's usually a good indicator.

Oh, that makes more sense I guess, still weird how different in tone the preview review is from the release one, guess it was better when it was less finished

Still, it's disingenuous to use a quote from the preview when you are shilling the full release since the review from said release was made one day after the tweet

And obviously, also when the game was so close to actually hitting shelves
They could have waited for something that actually reflected the final product, did they do this on purpose because they knew the game would receive flack upon launch ?

Prey was good. Some rough areas and dumb decisions but overall good. Good enough to replay.
