Refunding digital downloads - possible?

Long story short I got Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for PC and it's great.. when it doesn't disconnect. Blackout is everything PUBG should've been.

Multiple folks are having issues with the PC release and Activision Blizzard refuses to budge with any refunds.

They have an automated page to check for refunds and if you have have any play time with the game (i.e. loading it) you're out of luck. There is an appeal button where you can submit a ticket - but those are denied too.

Literally every match played just disconnects and kicks you back to the lobby where it calls you a bitch for losing connection to the host.

I've considered disputing the transaction with my bank but in cases like that Blizzard will shut you out of your entire account until you pay the money back - so in disputing a $100 charge I'd lose thousands of dollars and 15 years of other content on said account.

How do companies get away with this? Are there some magic words I can use in a ticket to get said refund? Anyone else had similar issues?

In future make a separate Blizzard/Steam/Whatever account for each individual game you buy.

Blizzard dose not have a refund policy unlike the other 3 (Steam,Origin,Uplay). Follow the gold rule Don't spend money you are never willing to see again.

Anyone who pre orders or buys new AAA games on release date these days is just handing money over for an unfinished product.

If you weren't aware of this by now, then you get no sympathy from me

Not everyone is on private trackers. I can’t even get into the vidya trackers because my user class isn’t high enough on the few trackers I am a member of. Used to, ratio could get you in. I’m sporting ratios no less than 20 and sometimes 30, still not good enough.
