Here are some of the removed steam games I have. Got a few more but that I'm saving to trade later.

Curious to see what you guys have!

Off the top of my head:
  • Line Rider 2 (It just lists the game now and literally nothing else)
  • Prey 2006 (you can get the games key on G2A for $3)
  • Bioshock 2 (by itself, had it on GFWL when that was a thing so they gave it to me for free, delisted but given away for free when the remaster came out)
  • Duke Nukem Megaton Edition
  • Some Frozen shovelware I installed for my niece
  • Poker Night 1 and 2
  • Alpha Protocol
  • 8Bit Bayonetta
  • Mortal Kombat Kollection
  • DuckTales Remastered (don't know if its still gone)
  • Grid 2
  • Mirage Arcane Warfare
  • Guardians of Middle Earth
  • Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box
  • Original version of Metro 2033
Not delisted but region exclusive thats still registered to my account because I exploited something,
  • DOA Extreme 3 Venus Beach
  • Guardians of Middle Earth

Duke Nukem Megaton edition. Not the greatest source port but still better than the cursed Randy edition plus it has all of the expansion packs.

I also have Stubbs the Zombie before it was re-released. Turns out if you bought the game before it was removed, you get the updated version of it for free. Nice devs for doing that. Namco/Bandai couldn't be bothered to do that for Dark Souls Remastered on Steam.

How can you tell which games in your library have been removed from the Steam store? Do you have to look them up individually or is there a filter I'm missing? Not that I have all that much in there to begin with.

I got The Last Remnant. Rumor has it there's gonna be a remastered/HD Version, but no real news so far.

It's also absolutely fucked that the game punishes you for leveling. Enemies level with you but you need to continue the storyline to get better followers and gear. I get killed in one hit by a story boss relatively early in the game and pretty much soft locked the game, because the boss blocks my way to any town to change party members.

Thank fuck there are mods so the game plays more like a traditional JRPG.

Probably best to cross reference with this site here. There’s no way to manually check other then clicking each game, looking on the steam store to see if it says purchase unavailable or redirects you to the main steam page

I might have to check that out

The VR fan project "Blade Runner 9732", which was initially given permission to exist by Warner in the run-up to the release of Blade Runner 2049, then was abruptly 86'ed by the studio days after it actually launched. Someone recently noticed you can still get it via SteamDB though apparently.

Probably doesn't count for this thread but I own physical copies of L4D2 and TF2. Having TF2 itself instead of the Orange Box is the biggest flex in my collection for me personally.

Oh weird I checked the steam-tracker list and I guess I do have a game that counts: Deiland. You can't buy it anymore currently. Definitely doesn't need to be bought, it's absolute shit.

Oh yeah I actually have that game, to. Put it down after I wasted so many hours because I made the fatal mistake of actually playing the game just to be punished by it. Fun fact, there is a remaster - On every platform except for steam. Released back in 2019 iirc.

Edit: May as well fully contribute. I have Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition (Released in 2011 and the best MK game released since, imo) I also got Rocket League in a bundle before it was poached off Steam by Epic. Most of the other removed games were already mentioned here, were free MMOs that went down, or were just older versions of updated games ala Bloodrayne, Baldurs Gate, ect. I'll update this post if I remember more.

Wolfenstein 2009 is the only game I'm aware of in my library that's delisted. I have a copy of Human Head's Prey somewhere that I think I can register the CD key of on Steam, which I think is delisted, but I don't really care to do that more than I'd rather just download a GOG release or something if I wanted to play it.

I have the first PC port of Atelier Sophie. When it first launched, people were complaining about Vita-level graphics, but later Koei Tecmo patched in PS4 textures and it was fine.
It was then delisted, and they replaced it with a completely separate full-priced DX edition, which added some content... and also used Switch graphics, which looked like shit. They had to fix it again.

Clockwork empires

Its a pretty good cthulu-esque age of colonialism themed proto-rimworld

Janky but lots of fun, its unfortunate the studio nuked itself into oblivion before they finished it

I followed the development of that game, since it looked promising. Then the development slowed down. Then it was released in early access as a buggy mess. Then development slowed down even more and finally stopped.
It even sat on my wishlist for a while, but I didn't wish spending cash on something that's not working correctly, and in the end I never did.
How do you even check that?
