Possibly. The people I've seen on the spectrum, usually the assburgers people don't ever seem to have a filter and will just happily sperg away about their interests, with no care that other people stopped giving a damn ages ago. This makes them more obnoxious than lolcows to me though.

I agree more with Dutch Courage that other personality disorders (especially narcissists) are much more prone to being cows than your run of the mill autist.

I think Twitter is a better outlet for lolcows. With YouTube, although the bar is low, you have to put at least the tiniest amount of effort to make a video. With Twitter you can spew some garbage every few minutes and call it a day.

Narcissists make excellent lolcows, since they are petty and revengeful, and show no sign of remorse, this means their threads don't die and get deleted, and the need for adoration and attention can put them in the dramawhore Twitch ecosystem, but many can be found on Twitter and Youtube. Stupid Narcissists that can't stop responding to bait are the best mental illness type imo.

I think I remember someone saying that Nick Bate had an above-average IQ so I really don't think intelligence plays much of a role, I'd say that your level of social awareness and how obnoxious your personality is has more to do with it.

I don't think IQ plays a part either. Edmund Kemper has a near genius level IQ, and he in his own words is "kind of a bumblebutt" Dahmer had above average intelligence as well, but his social skills were pretty awkward and stunted.

To answer your question, I believe the lowest result that can be reliably tested at, and has been seen is 40. Anything lower would prove inconclusive since they'd struggle to perform even the most basic functions, let alone be remotely capable of being tested.

Here's the deal with autists, repetitive behavior is a key factor in a diagnosis. From my interaction with high-functioning autists, this essentially means that they almost completely replicate social behaviors. Often they repeat over done jokes, use in-phrases that everyone else stopped using a week ago etc. Now this is not an issue and in particular if an autist feels comfortable they often speak their minds clearer and more directly than regular normies. However in the pressure of a social situation they often become mirrors, reflecting strong-voiced individuals. Putting autists in hugboxes like twitter, reddit and youtube makes them only see repetitive opinions and behaviors; they go from a mirror to being imprinted with an ideological view of the world.

Honestly, most cows are probably not of low intelligence. Some might be of average intelligence and appear dumb because people of average intelligence appear dim to people of above average intelligence.

The nature of this site, if it's like most other forums, is that it attracts people of at least slightly above average IQ due to the nature of complex discussion. Can any of us really imagine white or ghetto trash registering on the Farms and contributing to the discussion in a meaningful way? The goofy incoherent posts that we often rate as autistic only make up a minority of the posts here, and even those are often far better written than some of the shit you see on Facebook.

One of my friends has both asperger and a not stellar IQ. His political views can be summed up as "people should just be nicer to each other". He wants to date, but only if a girl wants exactly the same as he does from the outset without any negotiation and because he has trouble being okay with new people until he's known them for over a year, he's an incel.

There are so many parts of him that would be exceptional if he filmed himself everyday and was either arrogant, insecure, or unintentionally hilarious. Instead he is a kind of slower and more autistic mr. Rogers, that nobody can do else but learn to love if they've known him for a while and get past his shield.

I think there has to be some sense of wanting to see justice that helps make cows fun watching, or the excitement of knowing that all the dominos of their own demise that they're putting in place even while they're yelling at the people warning them not to do so, is part of the appeal.
