Several footballers in Spain are using sexual consent contracts after a concerning rise in rape and assault allegations and convictions, an expert has claimed.

A number of players have been embroiled in high-profile police action in recent years and Miguel Angel Galan, the head of the Spanish School for the Education of Managers, has claimed that the consent forms are now a regular practice for some.

Galan, who has been heavily involved in political circles in Spanish football, has published the alleged form on his official X, formerly Twitter, account.

The document is written in English, however, with Galan explaining on a TV show that the form came into his possession after being passed on by a foreign player.

Spanning three separate pages, the forms cover several sections. Both parties are told to identify themselves using their first and last names and confirm that 'the proposer and the consented party are sexually attracted to each other'.

One of the sub-sections on the final page of the forms is labelled 'accidental violation'

Here you can see the "Consent Contract" for sexual relations that circulates among First Division footballers. Draw your own conclusions, but the accidental rape section seems aberrant to me. 👇

The text adds: 'Therefore, the consenter and the proposer put their bodies at the mutual disposal for the aforementioned purpose from the time and date indicated for a period of hours.' The activities to be carried out must also be indicated.

Those involved are also asked to clarify what contraceptive methods they use.

A sub-section labelled 'accidental violation' must be filled out too.

Speaking on the Spanish programme 'En boca de todos', Galan said: 'I received this type of contract from a foreign footballer, so I suspect that they are used in other countries, under another law. I think that a contract like this has no place.'

He added he is aware that two players in LaLiga and one in the third division are using the forms but has questions over other methods of consent available.

The news has emerged shortly after Valencia forward Rafa Mir spent two nights in police custody after being accused of sexual assault. He has denied the claims.

Mir was released on bail with several conditions including a need to surrender his passport, a restraining order and a ban on contacting the alleged victim.

Former Barcelona full back Dani Alves appealed after being found guilty of rape

Rafa Mir appears at court for alleged sexual assault case

Former Barcelona full back Dani Alves, meanwhile, has been found guilty of rape and faces a four-and-a-half-year prison sentence should his pending appeal fail. He was released from jail on bail in March after paying a €1million (£850,000) bond.

In the Premier League, it is now mandatory for players and staff to receive mandatory sexual consent training. Sessions address healthy, respectful relationships and also include details on understanding harassment.

Publication Tortoise Media has this year received confirmation from 14 of the 20 top-flight clubs that training has been carried out - up from the 10 affirmatives last year.

This is stupid because consent can be withdrawn at any time. I'd be more afraid of signing the form because then it would be used as proof I'd okay whatever if things got dicey. Just stupid all around. Don't have sex with overpaid ball-kickers if you're afraid of what they can do.

Dave Chappelle called it 20 years ago...

This is so the ball-kickers can fuck the ball-kicker groupies and not have them lie and say they got raped when they don't pay them off.

so would these documents actually hold up in court?
I don't think they'd function as a legally binding contract, but someone claiming to have been raped would need to explain how a signed consent contract came into existence (along with any potential audio recordings of giving consent), especially as the consent form required a witness who could corroborate it. The obvious flaw is that someone could feasibly amend the document after signing (suggesting consent was given for more activities - especially if the witness worked for the football club) and also that it was completed while intoxicated or somehow under duress. But it'd be an additional barrier.

The part about contraception is also interesting but again feasibly wouldn't offer any legal protection against getting baby-trapped.

All sexual activity (globally) must be filmed to make sure it conforms to sex contracts.

>Signature of Witness over printed name and date (optional)
sometimes european sex crime laws are genuinely schizophrenic

Would the Liberated Woman really do that? Just ask for something then complain like a bitch when she gets it?

Oversight in this boilerplate that needs to be added: presentation of up-to-date and accurate STD tests and any other pertinent medical documentation (such as in the case of anal sex, any history of acute or subacute, or chronic, or ongoing acute/subacute colo-rectal health problems) as an additional prerequisite.

This but also (at least in the US) an individual can withdraw consent and you can't legally sign that away.

Someone is allowed to say at basically any point "actually I'm not OK with this, stop" and that revokes consent. It's obviously not retroactive but it'd be some sort of sexual assault going forward at that point.

That's why "con non-con" degenerates are really playing with fire. You can't legally consent to being raped.
