Today marks 15 years since celebrated and influential hip hop producer J. Dilla passed away from complications from lupus. He was only 32 years old.

In fact, just three days ago on this month was his birthday. He would have been 47 years old if he were alive today.

Some say that if weren’t for Dilla, we wouldn’t have the likes of celebrity lolcow Kanye West existing today. His work may not have been big as say, a Dr. Dre, but his Donuts album is considered to be one of the best rap albums of all time – filled with nothing but rap instrumentals that were meant for other rappers.

They're enemies of free speech, so it's no surprise one of the few men with enough balls to take bullshit "indecency" laws all the way to the Supreme Court and proudly demand his right to publish smut would be deeply offensive to them.

There's a bunch of them, but I was talking about some person who made his death into a pity party against her. This was the most popular one.
