The last man in question died on my birthday when I was just a teenager.

Bob McGrath was seriously the celebrity death I was dreading the most out of all those celebrities who died in 2022. I know people who have met him at charity events in real life and he was basically as nice as he was on television.

Bob McGrath sung the Sesame Street theme song in the pilot episode, before they replaced his singing with a chorus of kids.

One of my favourite Christmas specials from American televison is Christmas Eve on Sesame Street from 1978, so it was a little poignant seeing Bob in it this past December.

Earl Boen, who starred in the Terminator movies, as well as many other TV shows and voice acting roles, has passed away at the age of 81. He was also known for voicing the original racial introductions in World of Warcraft, as well as King Terenas Menethil.

Oh, dang, I didn't hear about this one until perusing this thread to see what I missed over the past couple of months.

RIP "Dr. Silberman"

Philadelphia disc jockey Jerry Blavat has died at 82.

He's before my time but apparently he was a big deal in the 60s and 70s and has a permanent exhibit at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In 1953 he was a popular dancer on Bandstand. But when it was discovered that he was only 13 he was allowed to pick records instead. This led to his career and a DJ and TV show host. Looks like he knew a lot of legendary musical artists.
