RIP actor Tom Sizemore, even though drugs really fucked him, I think he was a great actor.

I’m posting my favorite Tom Sizemore video as tribute

Plus if you look on YT now, they’re even showing scenes of him when he was in Saving Private Ryan Enemy of the State and Heat — two of those three movies that I’ve seen, but I was too young to know that it was actually him.

Either way, I just hope Tom’s family can now find peace.

Pour one out for Gary Rossington, the last surviving member of Lynyrd Skynyrd passed away today. This one hurts more than anyone will ever know.

Damn. This just makes me want to get their albums while I have the chance. “Simple Man” on repeat for the rest of the week.

Lynyrd Skynyrd was my dad's favorite band and Gary Rossington was his favorite guitar player, I lost my dad to cancer this last Summer.
My dad's favorite song

Man hard to believe all the foundering members are dead now.

I believe this song was inspired by him being the last remaining member of the original band (he's on the cover art of the album). Rip to the last rebel.

As far as Lynyrd Skynyrd goes, I still don’t believe that people ironically find “Sweet Home Alabama” as something that should be mocked. Jokes aside, I remembered hearing it as a kid thinking that was a joyful song, and I still love it.

I was the never the type to mock Southerners for being from the South, even if people associate that song with very bad intentions. Either way, LS deserves their legend status for making one of the best catchiest songs of all time.

I like the part where they tell Neil Young to go fuck himself.

Man dying at 100 sounds like the ultimate goal in my opinion for anyone.
Several of my grandparents got north of 90 and spent their final days languishing with dementia. That and Everywhere at the End of Time has made me decide I'll be ready to check out once I reach 85.
