Aw man, it was a question of time. The man looked even rougher than usual due to decades of hard drinking.

My best guess is someone tampering with their Adrenochrome supply, and the baby blood they put in their IV probably had the sickle cell. They are too important for the financial and moral global order to die so soon, one after the other. The real question is... who dunn it? We'll see it in this episode.
