RIP Thread

I imagine being taken out by a rock is probably (hopefully) as quick and painless as a bullet in the brain.
That's a big "hopefully". I imagine she wasn't crushed to death by a boulder, so the damage would depend heavily on where and how it struck her. If she was lucky, her skull and brain were obliterated and she died instantly, or it concussed her hindbrain and caused respiratory arrest, but it's more likely it smacked her hard enough to cause profound and irreversible brain damage, and she just became an invalid for a few hours or days until her body shut down from lack of water. It's all up in the air, but there's no guarantee it was instantaneous and painless.

Isn't this the second iron maiden alumni to die this year? I'm fairly certain Paul died this year.
It reminded me that time when both Lemmy and original Motorhead drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor died the same year.

There's this odd musical trend that happens when you'll have alumni members of a long-running band just die or you'll have a mix of current members and alumni die roughly the same time.

Well, I learned a new word today.

RIP Mr Lazarus. ⚽

One would guess that musical groups are roughly the same age when they formed (though, that isn't always the case), so dying around the same time makes sense.

That's gonna be a dark one for me when Eric Stuart goes...
Noooo he's in Nashville with Megan Hollingshead, Jason Marsden, and Samantha Newark. As long as Dolly Parton rules over Tennessee as the Queen, no harm will come to any of them.

Now....when the original narrator and also Professor Oak go....THAT is when we will be fucked.
