That tweet says Rebecca Heineman. Unless I'm reading the wrong thing?

Sux either way. RIP Mr/s Hineman(s)!
He was a guy who did the classic "midlife troonout/leave wife and kids to live his fetish" thing in his 40s.

He then got married to another guy who did the same. "Lesbians."

It's time to come to your home, the RIP thread, @The Last Stand

Ah damn. Once Were Warriors is absolutely one of a kind, can't even say how often i've watched it. The three books its based on are also very well worth a read. The main difference to the movie is is that there's no Uncle Bully and Jake is most likely Grace's rapist.

I watched this reunion of the cast forever ago and liked it a lot:

Randy Jones, former pitcher for the San Diego Padres and New York Mets passed away yesterday at the age of 75.

With the Padres he was the runner up for the Cy Young Award for the National League in 1975 before winning it in 1976. In both years he was named to the National League All-Star team. By doing so he became the first Padres pitcher to make an All-Star team with them, and was the first Padre to win a Cy Young Award (the franchise began play in 1969.)

Meiko Nakao, Japanese porn actress, died at the age of 29.
Someone relay to her Friend that, if she needs a shoulder to cry on, I'm here.

Well, not there. I'm across the Pacific.

I'm, like, here here. Not there here.

Metaphorically, though, I'm here there.

You know what I mean.

When you ping her mention that it isn't yellow fever, but I just appreciate humans, our collective struggle, and small butts.

You take your premarital hand-holding desires somewhere else, mister! This is a family-friendly part of the site where we talk about the dead!

I read the first two books when I was in high school.

I also went to 20th anniversary screening of Once Were Warriors last year. Lee Tamahori and Temuera Morrison did a Q&A after.
