Such a great actor. One of the most unbalanced people I've known was obsessed with Possession. Haven't watched it in years. Might have to go back and rewatch.

Kino in every role, even the bad movies. I love Carpenter but I wouldn't have given a shit about In The Mouth of Madness or Event Horizon if not for Sam.
Its unfortunate that when a bad boomer dies (Graham) a good one has to as well - RIP king.
As sad as Sam Neill's death is, this one doesn't surprise me. He was dealing with Cancer for years. And even if you are lucky enough to beat it, you'll be weaker in health from it. Sad to read it though. RIP.
RIP Sam. I rewatched Jurassic Park last year after reading the book and it still holds up amazingly well (especially compared to the dogshit modern movies).
Normally I like to recommend an obscure film when an actor dies but it turns out the one I was thinking of, The Interview, was Hugo Weaving and not Neill but it's still worth a watch.
Not surprised due to the cancer stuff and his age. Bummed all the same. Along with his movies (the first JP is my favorite), his Twitter account was one of the only celeb ones I actually liked. Much of the content was him promoting his wine or pictures of his farm animals that he named after costars. Sometimes behind the scenes looks of movies he was in or his travels. Very seldomly politics. Surprisingly comfy for a celeb account. Seemed like a chill dude. RIP
I'm honestly heartbroken. Jurassic Park is still one of my favorite movies and I loved Event Horizon and In The Mouth of Madness. Sam was just great in everything, too. Hunt for Red October, Peaky Blinders, Daybreakers, Merlin, that Gallipoli documentary he narrated... we lost a legend. RIP, Sam.
