Former baseball pitcher Tommy John passed away at the age of 83 from complications of bladder cancer. He played in parts of 26 seasons and was a 4-time All-Star (3 of which came after his surgery.)

If you're even casually interested in baseball you've definitely heard of "Tommy John Surgery" which is named after John as he had it performed on him in 1974. The layman's version of the surgery is that they remove a ligament in the elbow with a tendon elsewhere on your body (or a donor's.)

Rest in Piss. Jason Arday. He had two kids from two different women btw. Even though he looks like a zesty thug shaker.
I still maintain his eyes don’t look human at all. He legit has the eyes of a reptile

Hayden Panettiere, a relatively famous actress, passed away. She was only 36 years old, goddamn.

Farmers might remember her from the show Heroes or the Scream franchise if you're a horror person. For video game enjoyers, she was Kairi in Kingdom Hearts, and one of the lead characters in Until Dawn which she did mocap for as well as voicing.

Cause of death unknown as of yet, but she did struggle with addiction

Holy shit, man. Talk about a shock. Sad for her kid too. Although a quick Google search on her, I'm not so surprised she's died. Sounds like she had a lot of addiction problems.

OD or intentional OD?
She had to sign over her custody for her daughter many years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what started it.

I've known her for KH back when she was voicing Kairi. But 36, she died too young. RIP for this incredible talent.

I'm betting she did the OD thing.

I'm getting some of the same vibes as what happened to Brittany Murphy and Michelle Trachtenberg... unexpected deaths under unusual circumstances.

Screaming Mad George, special make-up and creature effects artist known for working on the movies Nightmare On Elm Street 3 and 4, Predator, and more, died at the age of 69 on February 10th of this year.
He also was one of the contributors to the special effects work on Necronomicon: Book of the Dead, an anthology film featuring some truly disgusting creature work, along with John Beuchler, who'd worked on Re-Animator and From Beyond among others and Christopher Nelson. George worked with Brian Yuzna on other films including designing the creatures for Society and Bride of Re-Animator, the various stitched-together abominations in Dr. West's lab including the thing made up of an eyeball and human fingers. (Beuchler was among the makeup and effects people who worked on Bride.) He also designed the suit for the main character in Yuzna's Faust, based on Tim Vigil and David Quinn's "outlaw" comic series (and the dragon, snake, demon critter that shows up at the end). While I didn't care for the film, the design for Faust was kind of goofy but I could dig it, in that it was like something out of a low budget tokusatsu film from the late 80s or so of the sort that was not family friendly. He also co-directed the live-action, Yuzna-produced DTV Guyver film with another FX artist, Steve Wang, which while it was "eh" overall had some gnarly moments like Mark Hamill being transformed into a large insect creature.
