they were inhaling dangerous mold and other disgusting things
IIRC their house was also full of mountains of clothing. Cloth in piles absorbs moisture when it’s humid and develops mold. Depression leads to drug abuse, lots of money and depression leads to ‘retail therapy’ and a variant of hoarding disorder. Shared depression and codependency add to the stew. Piles of moldy clothes, insufficient ventilation, drug abuse, depressed respiration… it was just a matter of time.

Weird thing is I watched her movie ‘Ramen Girl’ literally a day before news of her death broke and despite it being a terrible film, one thing that stuck in my mind, her energy and vitality. Very hard to reconcile those two mental images.

"Norwegians are girls who love girls, boys who love boys, and girls and boys who love each other"
That's all well and good, but having played more than a few video games translated into English from their original foreign languages by "questionable" translators (or "localization experts" in the industry's own lingo) leading to utterly absurd woketarded bullshit that absolutely wasn't present in the original version, how well-vetted are these translations?

Is this a matter of a literal translation of a Norwegian idiom like "equality is good and people should try to like each other despite their differences" that has no direct English translation/equivalent, or is he really saying "lol faggots and pedophiles are fuckin' great and I love 'em"?

Nah. It's literally just a speech from 2016 where he was preaching to the choir about globohomo
Just "there's no such thing as Norwegian - just a person with a Norwegian citizenship"

I think he recently kicked it in the ass. He's cool as well. Loads of G1 VAs have been lost over the years. Scatman and Orson Wells back in the 80s, Roger C Carmel, the voice of Cyclonus before Jack Angel took over.

Clive Revil was last year, Kickback's VA. I think Alan Oppenheimer is still kickin'.
Ed Gilbert (Blitzwing and Superion, as well as General Hawk on GI Joe) died in 1999, and Dick Gautier (Rodimus Prime in Season 3) passed in 2017.

Why aren't they liked? I've never heard anything bad about CW, and the only bad stuff I've heard about Voight comes from his nutty daughter.
CW is like old and fogey and hasnt got cast in anything for a long time so the general perception of him has become this weird old has been (Ive not seen a mainstream role since 2016s Jungle Book). Voight is a Mickey Rourke type kooky republican who is supposedly abrasive. Havent seen him in anything since the first Fantastic Beasts movie 10 years ago. So hes been largely just cast aside, unlike James Woods and others who are actively hated than forgotten.

Also to be fair, the moldy old CPap thing was alleged, but when their home was searched it was dirty. It was most likely due to the severe anemia plus her doing tons of pills. Also she got very thin. Wasn't she going to tons of doctors to get prescription pills on top of it? And she had pneumonia, right?

That's already rough, and her immune system was probably weak as well. She did have a ton of energy. I don't know how she managed that.

I'd heard about this earlier today, pulp scholar and historian and author Will Murray passed at 73, which was a shock. I had read his work including his authorized Doc Savage novels, and Writings in Bronze, a collection of articles and essays he'd written on various aspects of the pulp character, including a profile on the main author behind the house name of Kenneth Robeson, Lester Dent. He'd also published three books of essays and articles on the biggest pulp hero of them all, The Shadow and the characters legacy. His book Wordslingers: An Epitaph for the Western was the result of a decade of research, searching the pages of Writer’s Digest and similar magazines for letters and articles that told the story—as it was happening—of the rise and fall of the Western pulp, from 1906 to the field's last gasp in 1960 as paperbacks and TV cornered the Western market in the '50s, in the words of the writers and editors who made the pulp westerns happen, then put it all into historical context.

Critics and editors alike have periodically declared the Western story dead and buried. Stubbornly, it refuses to remain interred. The U.S. cowboy rides eternal.

He was still writing, having recently published a crossover novel pitting pulp hero Secret Agent X against the mad scientist/occultist Dr. Death, who'd been the star of his own pulp magazine for a brief while in 1935, and had been publishing collections of his various Lovecraft Mythos stories over the years. he was a talent and a top researcher helping carry the torch of pulp fiction into the 21st century.

Lee Ving is still kicking
Pretty sure he was last seen on the midnight train to Georgia.

She did have a ton of energy. I don't know how she managed that.
Friends in high places I suspect.

More like Dolly Departon
I gotta admit, the confetti popping up while liking your comment due to the recent THWOMPpening of LFJ seems especially appropriate for this comment.

King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV of Tooro, Uganda, die Kimbad at the age of 34.

Ahem, excuse me.. that's KANG Oyo Nyimba Ooga-Booga Koombaya to you! I wonder if African niggers put their dead ones' faces on a t-shirt just like American niggers do?

Jay Bauman from Red Letter Media came up with one that got me, too. When Rudy Ray Moore (weirdo blaxploitation actor) died, he said "more like Rudy Ray No More".

The translation is accurate. It's not idiomatic or anything. He wasn't completely unsensible though. He caused a minor controversy earlier that year by saying that the refugee stream into Europe should be stopped, we should help them where they are instead, and that "we can't receive all of Africa into Europe". He massively overcompensated for that with this utterly buck-broken, retarded speech, where he declared that Norwegians are basically a people without any defining characteristics whatsoever. That was enough to make the even the turbo-commies in the state media love him forever.

I remember him as Jim, the drug bum from the tv sitcom Taxi that included Danny Devito. If you have never seen the episode that tells you how he became a drug bum, search for it. 40+ years later I still laugh at it.
Omg lol he was hilarious as Reverend Jim. I remember this episode with Latka's cookies made with coca leaves. 😁

We don't have such idioms. It's a direct translation. He might have meant it in an inclusive way but it comes off as globalist wokecorpo. Here's a link to the speech:

I fear the new "king" will be a Charles type disaster, a spineless globohomo cuck ruled by his mom and whore wife.
