They say she died at age 99, but when you die within two and a half weeks of the century mark-and factoring in all the leap days between 1922 and 2021-why don't we just round up and consider her a centenarian?

To satisfy my own curiosity, I looked up these two ghoulish creatures to find out who the hell they were. Wealthy French academic phonies who published gibberish scientific papers, sued and/or prosecuted (!) anyone who called them out on it, lied about never having plastic surgery (fucking lol -- troons don't even lie this much) and inexplicably found fame in television.
Modern man still loves an old-fashioned freak show, I guess.

Nah, if you really need to think of it in a way that gets her to triple digits just consider that she was definitely alive for 100 years. She just hadn't been delivered yet.
