RIP Thread

He's a top-tier Twitter sperg and the only person in the world that could get away with writing THAT ONE SCENE FROM "IT" so I think it's safe to say there's gonna be a party when he dies
Honeslty that what pisses me off Stephen King gets to act like he's better than me (a conservative) on Twitter. Yet he literally wrote fucking child porn. Fucking peice of shit

Some people have been saying Gary Rossington. He's the last surviving original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd. He had emergency heart surgery back in October. He's 70 so that doesn't sound too good.

All his limbs were and his pelvis were broken in the 1977 plane crash. His drug problems got worse after that because of pain medication. He's lucky to still be alive at all.
Fun fact: the plane in which much of Lynyrd Skynyrd got killed was previously appraised for a charter by Aerosmith, but they found it way too sketchy and passed it up. So Lynyrd Skynyrd chartered it instead.
The man literally went to space, bane posts and knows Wil Wheaton is a lolcow.
Imagine actually being the Shat. When he meets the Reaper he'll be basically "you're a big guy" and then laugh at him.

I gotta go with Everything's Eventual as his best short story/novella collections, followed by Different Seasons, Four Past Midnight, Skeleton Crew and Night Shift to round out the top 5. Gotta agree with If it Bleeds, too. I thought the Life of Chuck was some of the most self-centered fear-of-mortality crap he's ever written and shat into book form (Sorry, @Dom Cruise!) and nothing else in that book jumps out at you the way the short stories in his other collections do.

As an example, "Blockade Billy" was probably the greatest novella in ages that he's put out, and sadly that will almost never become a big screen movie. Bazaar of Bad Dreams would be in the top 5 because of this story and for 'Ur' but unfortunately it also contains some of his most glurgy crap like "Mister Yummy" and a THIRD goddamn haunted car story in 'Mile 81'. (FOURTH if you count Trucks/Maximum Overdrive.)

And for DeathWatch 2022, I am calling Queen Elizabeth II. It's just been TOO goddamn long.
I LIKE haunted cars.
