RIP Thread

I nominate Pelé for this year's deadpool.
The man is 82 and is spending more and more time in hospital rooms. Rumour has it he has advanced colon cancer and that he's chosen not to treat it, preferring to spend his last days with his family at home.

I'm also not very confident on seeing former Pope Benedict XVI living long. He's rarely seen in public, and in the few times he appeared, he looked even more like a lumbering lich.

Wait, Stephen Fry's a pedophile? What?
Not convicted in a court of law (yet) but see this post for details.
Or just start reading from here.

Basically he has a long track record of carefully-worded pro-pedo statements and activism, has written plays about a pedo teacher, and married a guy less than half his age (who looked like he was in his mid-teens when they married despite being in his 20’s).

It it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…

Welp, I didn't know any of that.

Great, another celebrity ruined.

Marrying a much younger man does not a chomo make, imo. Just a faggot who likes younger men the way I like younger women.

I'll believe it when I see the cheese pizza on his phone and/or computer, not before.

I used to wince a bit when I saw updates to this thread, because it might mean that someone had died whom I might miss. Now I just roll my eyes, because it's generally a bunch of ghoulposting.

The next time a death is posted here that I care about, it's going to be a nasty shock.

I did ask before I started mine. And kindly refrained until I saw thread consensus seemed to swing the other way.

In 2020, Montagnier argued that SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, was man-made in a laboratory and that it might have been the result of an attempt to create a vaccine for HIV/AIDS. His allegation came after the United States had launched a probe into whether the virus came from a laboratory. According to Montagnier, the "presence of elements of HIV and germ of malaria in the genome of coronavirus is highly suspect and the characteristics of the virus could not have arisen naturally."
