RIP Thread

Bernard Cribbins has died. He starred in Jackanory, Dr Who, three of the Carry On films, and is perhaps best remembered as the narrator of The Wombles.

He was 93, so not entirely unexpected. Between him and David Warner, it's been a miserable week for the English entertainment greats.
When I saw this I mmediately thought of the gif below and wasnt entirely sure if it was him well how fitting in the end.

At this point, I assume every older female British celebrity is having their life force drained for Queen Elizabeth II, and every older male British celebrity is having their life force drained for David Attenborough. That's the only explanation I can come up with as to how many of them are dropping like flies yet these two soldier on.
Ahhh no!

Someone go check on David Jason.
On the subject, I'm really surprised and shocked John Challis (Boycie) went before he did. 79 but he looked relatively nice for his age. Jason in comparison looks and sounds rough.

Angela Lansbury is still alive, so all is right and good in Bongland.

Another person left us, Mary Alice who starred in the soap opera A Different World.

Mary Alice, the actress best known for her roles in A Different World and Sparkle, has died. She was 85.
Alice died on Wednesday at her home in Manhattan, a spokesperson for the NYPD confirms to PEOPLE. A cause of death was not provided.
The actress's death was also confirmed by "one of her close friends," according to Philip Lewis of HuffPost, who announced the news on his Twitter Thursday.
"Mary Alice, known for her roles as 'Lettie' on A Different World and Effie Williams in Sparkle, has died, one of her close friends tells me," Lewis wrote.
"'We are all very sad at the loss,'" he shared from the source's statement.

Lewis also posted two photos of Alice — the first of her at the 45th Emmy Award Governor's Ball in 1993 with her award in hand, and the second of her in character.

Rest in peace and thank you for playing one of the best Disney villains ever.

Fun fact Pat Carroll also voiced Ursula in Kingdom Hearts and also voiced Ursula's sister Morgana in the Little Mermaid 2.
Goddammit why didn't that smug cunt George Takei die instead?
I liked Nichelle :(
It's never the ones you don't like that goes.
