Seriously, whatever anyone may think of drag, or his style of comedy, by all accounts, Paul O'Grady was a lovely man who never forgot his working class roots, nor ceased to campaign for those less fortunate than himself.

For all the 40 years he was in the public eye, I've yet to hear of anyone who can offer a negative anecdote about him, and for a very public figure like O'Grady, that means something.

Plus, he was very devoted to his dogs, which makes him a good person in my book.

Probably one of the best Japanese composers to make use of techno and classical music at his arsenal. Cancer diagnosis must not have been on his mind, for I’m sure he battled to the end while focusing on his one true passion of making music for both America and Asia.

The nice thing about most notable Japanese media, is death notices are usually posted at least a few days later than the norm in Western culture, that at least gives the families time to mourn and have their funeral ceremonies in peace more often than not.
