EDIT: Okay, that's "Buffett" with two T's. Sorry.

All of Florida in a mandatory mourning period in which only cheeseburgers and margaritas are consumed.

One famous musician that gave us piña coladas in the rain and the other helped Initial D while make Brenton Tarrant infamous/popular depending on who you are.

Wild to think that this came just a few days before Labor Day arrived.

first jimmy buffet now Steve Harwell

Steve Harwell 56 on his deathbed with liver failure.

This ones for you Steve and all of us who were there when it was new.

Also the "Eat the Eggs" stunt from Something Awful.
Here's the egg video:

The whole thing backfired tremendously on DocEvil, with the Smashmouth guy dragging him up on stage & forcing him to eat the eggs instead. When everyone saw what a pathetic cuck he was irl, he became a laughingstock in FYAD, & had to retreat to twitter.

I’m sorry. But he’s gone.

Feels relevant.

The lead singer for Smash Mouth dying is just proof that a piece of the 2000’s is gone. If anything, this makes me want to watch Shrek all over again.

Feels bad man. 😔
Every generation thinks the good times will last forever. The boomers believed the prosperity and postwar boom they were literally born and raised under would last forever. Generation x though the wild and crazy Era of music movies and TV would last forever and then us millennials thought our days of EXTREME crazy good times with a hint of edge would be the one to outlast where our parents and grandparents failed.

It was even in our name, millennial, the millennium, the year 2000. The promise of the the future. Now the dream and the rides over and slowly piece by piece our history is vanishing. Today it was Steve Harwell who's next? Johnny Knoxville? Tony Hawk? Danny Tamborelli? Marshall matters? Glen Danzig? Gerard way? Patrick stump? Billie Joe Armstrong?

Well to close out this eulogy this one's for you Steve well always have the winter of 99/y2k with this one.

Working class communities were devastated in Britain because of her policies.
Her role in international affairs was equally belligerent whether in support of the Chilean dictator Pinochet, her opposition to sanctions against apartheid South Africa; and her support for the Khmer Rouge.
Old post, I know, but this just astounds me. Jesus Christ, supporting the Khmer Rouge... Wow, now that's fucked up.
