RIP William Peter Blatty, the writer of The Exorcist, who passed away yesterday at the age of 89.

Just found out that George S. Irving, the narrator of the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books, died on December 26th.
 
I'm probably the only one this will effect, but game character designer, John Sein died at the age of 32. The reason I bring it up is that he was very talented, he died too early and he did a bunch of art for some stuff I liked.

Holy shit he did art for Celtic Heroes. I used to play that game a lot and I remember seeing his golem art. Goddamn, it really is a small world (:_(
 
A belated RIP to John Hurt. The man was in 130 movies in a career of 6 decades. I'll always remember him for Alien and The Elephant Man.
 
Mike Illitch, founder of the pizza chain Little Caesar's and owner of the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers died yesterday.
 
This will in all likelood only mean something to Canadian kiwis, but iconic CBC radio personality Stuart McLean passed away earlier today at the age of 68.
