Yeah... He was in rough shape for the past decade or more. The thing about throat cancers and stuff like that is it tends to eat away at you for years, unlike something like pancreatic cancer thst usually gets you quick. Roger Ebert and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan suffered the same way. R.I.P. to one of the worst Batmans, but the absolute BEST Doc Holliday.
He was also into Christian Science, never a good thing when you get cancer, since you initially completely refuse all treatment, much like he did, until he realized he was going to die otherwise. Then he did anyway. Christian Science is retarded.
Once again I will recommend The Traveler and The Salton Sea, two of Val's lesser-known but very good movies.
He was a crappy Batman. But he was a great Iceman (and he redid it on the verge of death). He wasn't bad as Morrison either.

Top Gun and Batman were before my time, so Moses in Prince of Egypt will always be Val's biggest role for me. RIP.

Christain Science believer: "I'm only going to pray to God and hope He heals me"

God: *gives man the knowledge of how to treat these diseases*

Christian Science believer: *refuses to take the medicine God gave that can heal him*

It's sad these people are killing themselves over things the Bible doesn't even say.

Ok, he was great as Morrison, sure, but… not a single mention yet of his biggest and greatest role, lead actor as Nick Rivers in TOP SECRET?
Just one of the best movies of all time… and I’m not even saying comedies. If you haven’t seen this one, kiwis, make yourself a favour some day:

This song comes to mind
