RIP Thread

D'angelo died this week as well. At 51 too. Too young.
I hate to say this, but I never heard of him before the news he died and I looked up his stuff. I never liked that kind of black music so, maybe that's 3rd, hopefully.

Voodoo is an amazing record. He only made one other record after that. And a song for rdr2. Various reasons.

Susan Stamberg has passed away at the age of 87. She was a journalist and one of the original team of journalists hired when NPR was founded. She was a fixture on the network for years, well before the modern day decline.

Damn. Huge Ace fan here. Glad I managed to go see him early this year when he came through on tour. Did a bunch of solo stuff, plus a ton of KISS songs he pulled off great because two of his band members also sang and sounded exactly like Paul and Gene for their songs. Was really looking forward to the album he'd been working on.

RIP Spaceman.
God damn this hit me like a ton of bricks. He was so good on this past tour! His new album was fantastic! The videos of him annoying his girlfriend at Walmart and the grocery store were kino! He was always the most fun guy in KISS. It’s been such a hoot seeing him do this more in the public eye lately. He said he planned to tour and record for another five years or so. He thought he had it in him.

Son of a bitch, he falls in his studio and hit his head, and just like that, everything. Gone. Thanks for the memories, space man. It’s been one hell of a rocket ride.

EDIT: holy shit it just occurred to me he died because he had trouble walking wtf son of a bitch he predicted his own downfall
