Charity Pierce, person who was on the TV show My 600-lb Life, died at the age of 50.
I was about to make a comment about how not-so-surprising this death was, with the assumption that she didn't lose weight (those kinds of shows are just revolting yet got popular). However, what TMZ failed to note was that this woman did turn her life around and was no where near the weight she was at during the show. She went from 771 pounds to 198 pounds to the point of not looking recognizable.

Now I'm just sympathetic because here was someone who actually tried to turn their life around, got it and seemingly had a limited amount of time with their lifestyle change and now they're dead.

My late father's cat was put down this week. I was taking care of her while my mother has been travelling and I decided to bring her to the vet to have her checked out. She was an old cat and had a number of health problems.

I made the decision to let her sleep rather than face an ever decreasing quality of life and increasing pain.

I used to sing to her. Now all I see is the empty space in the living room where her little bed was. I won't lie -- I cried when it ended.

I'm so sorry about your kitty.
She will be waiting on the Rainbow Bridge for you.
