A great performance by O'Hara. Another one of her best performances was In the mostly forgettable Christopher Guest film "For Your Consideration" which really put an end to his streak of hits like Best in Show and A Mighty Wind. It is O'Hara's best role that doesn't get talked about very much. Even though she's playing a comedic role, O'Hara also convincingly played the reality of a fading and desperate actress. Like the rest of the SCTV crew, O'Hara didn't get a lot of starring roles that let her show her range - Moranis and Levy were typecast as nerds, Candy was typecast as a good-natured buffoon, etc. but when they got chances to play something outside of the groove Hollywood had slotted them into, they showed what they were capable of.

She used to like cocaine a lot back in the 70s, but everyone did back then.

Anyway, she looked very thin recently and she skipped the recent Golden Globes even though she was nominated, so maybe she was dealing with something privately. Hell of a loss regardless.

It's good to see that despite the circumstances, alot of different farmers are mourning and reminiscing about Catherine O'Hara. She was another one of those good actresses from many of our childhoods that was always just "there", and popping up in random places that you never think about or expect them to pass away. She was comforting in that kind of way. I'll always remember her as Delia Deetz from Beetlejuice, but another often overlooked role was voicing (and singing!) Sally in A Nightmare Before Christmas. And Shock as well! She really was talented on so many levels.

It was a beautiful sight, furries and retired furry haters shit posting memes making jokes and shooting the shit while occasionally posting furry girls to stay on topic in a moment of chill non political unity with the sole simple goal of making people ask "why is this here?" one rarely sees on this site, it was beautiful and innocent and funny and Null MURDERED it!

She also voiced one of the kids in the Kidnap the Sandy Claws song.


Which also had Paul Reubens (RIP) in the song. Man, Danny Elfman is the only one alive now from that group.
