Peter G. Neumann, computer science researcher who helped prevent computers from having security risks, died at the age of 93 on May 17th of this year.
Shame not enough people fucking listened to him. Lookin' at you, Microsoft. How fucking long did it take them to finally adopt data section execution prevention? And how is it that still breaks most Windows applications anyway despite it not technically being necessary for programs to even be aware it's enabled?

RIP Joliet Jake, who was only 7 years old and died suddenly, likely of a fast-moving cancer, today. I am heartbroken. He brought us so much joy.
 
Dolphia Blocker died last month at the age of 93. She was the wife of "Bonanza" star Dan Blocker. All four of their kids learned karate from Chuck Norris.
