Beloved Kansas radio host Uncle Jimmy was gunned down by 3 youths earlier this week (sunday).

Actor Ronnie Schell has passed away at the age of 94. He was Duke on "Gomer Pyle, USMC" and Marlo Thomas' agent on "That Girl". He was also in "The Cat From Outer Space", voicing the the alien cat Jake. He did a lot of voice work on cartoons, such as "Goober and the Ghost Chasers".

Margaret Kerry passed away on June 11th. Her lasting claim to fame was as the artists' life model for animators at Walt Disney who made "Peter Pan". Kerry was who they modeled Tinkerbell on. She also voiced one of the mermaids in the picture.

Gene Shalit 1926-2026. Holy shit I thought this guy had died years ago. I remember seeing him on the NBC morning show doing movie reviews as a kid in the 80's. Getting to 100 is pretty impressive RIP.

Aw, man. This man was one of the critics I loved to see because he never took himself seriously.

But he made it to 100. That's a long life. RIP, man.
 
I had no idea Gene was that old. I remember him from my childhood, but never cared about his reviews. I just liked his persona. He used to be on Celebrity Squares quite often, no?
