Sepsis has really been on an upswing it seems lately. Got that Nascar guy recently too and a few others. I've known some people with close calls with it. Absolutely an ER immediate emergency of the worst type.
In my recent experience with the ER there was an unacceptable lack of communication between nurses and doctors. More than once the doctor would chastise the nurse/s in my presence saying this should have been brought to attention hours ago. The health care system in the US is overburdened and clearly there are preventable deaths occurring as a result.
Sepsis deaths caused by/in the ER are on the rise rather substantially in the US. Nurses fucking suck at their jobs, especially in ERs. They ignore patients' complaints about symptoms (new while in-hospital and even their presenting symptoms), fail to report important changes and information to doctors, ignore the scolding they receive from said doctors for that failure, don't check on patients often enough, don't notice or recognize obvious crash signs, and the excuse is "overworked" when IRL it's laziness and burnout.

You practically have to be your loved one's NP at an ER if you want to hold out any hope of their surviving the experience. There are two nurses who fucked up my aunt's medical care during the COVID days (she passed, sadly) through miscommunication and my parents couldn't fix it because they wouldn't allow them into the room with her (this was during the retarded "you have to stay separated by glass while we go in with paper face masks" phase of that grand experiment). Those nurses are alive today solely because my parents still won't disclose their names to me (and Alzheimer's has claimed my father's memory now anyway) and I can't find any of the paperwork.

Yeah but she didn't deserve to die over it.
Jake Gyllenhaal on the other hand...
Brokeback Mountain was his real crime. He'll pay for that in this life or the next.

I typed all this autism up because it horrifies me that people just let doctors discharge them even though they know something is still wrong, and it leads to shit like this. I don't wanna read about one of you nerds dying of sepsis that was preventable, or some shit like that.
I think people still have the old fashioned view of doctors helping people get better and "The doctor knows whats right".

Doctors and Hospitals have been raped by lawsuits so much in the past that they don't recommend anymore. Its up to you to make choices and they're there to be a "second opinion". If you goto a hospital, you're the boss. You basically need to know what's wrong with yourself.

She Probably got diddle, it's Hollywood you know. *sigh*
It's a strong possibility. She had issues with drugs, which many child actors eventually develop. In any case it's just terribly sad, wasting away in some shithole like L.A. and dying of a host of infections. So young.

She voiced Disney characters. It's more likely than not that she was diddled. If you let your kid anywhere near Disney and Nickelodeon you are playing with fire.

It looks like the so-called boyfriend is grifting in her name. Daveigh's sister has told people not to donate to him. Her family was trying to get her help but she pulled a disappearing act after a phone call. This is unfortunately quite common. I've experienced this myself with people. It's very hard, if not impossible, to get some addicts off the street. They will choose homelessness over help. Sometimes a co-dependent relationship with another addict makes it near impossible to do anything for them. You try to get them away from this person who is only making things worse. It's like trying to pry a fish out of a cat's mouth. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. And I had to give up. I don't even know if that person is still alive. It happens every day.

Correct. And housed pillheads. I'm fucking tired of it. I want a refund on my degree.
I'm genuinely excited at the prospect of graduates starting a trend of suing their alma maters for selling them overpriced degrees that turned worthless through societal changes and developments they (the schools) themselves helped facilitate.

Imagine an army of white computer science degree holders suing an Ivy league university over its AI degree programs for deliberately killing off their livelihoods.

I had a dream Weird Al died and I got scared.
MOTHERFUCKER I WILL CUT YOU! DO NOT PUT THAT CONCEPT OUT THERE INTO THE UNIVERSE!

Tay Keith, Grammy nominated producer for hip-hop music, died at the age of 29.
A good start, one less source for that dogshit.

It seems Bobby Prince, the legend behind the soundtracks and sound effects for Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, and many others passed away on June 16th.
This one really hurts.

Oh, mine has been worth the investment. I'm an advanced practice internal medicine provider in a hospital setting. I'm just tired of our time, energy, beds, and tax dollars being wasted on leeches, and it makes me wish I could just stare at lines of code all day instead of being manipulated by another fucking junkie or having to pretend I give a fuck about the savage who illegally migrated a decade ago and still speaks zero words of English. I hate them.

Hey, I liked her in Darko.

If she dies, it should be for The Bride
It takes an astonishing amount of stupidity for a woman to make a movie about how oppressed women are, after being given $90 million to make a movie.
