A very wise person once said that Michael Caine and Tim Curry gave the best performances in the Muppet movies for opposite reasons. Caine treated the Muppets like they were fellow actors, whereas Curry decided to be a Muppet himself, and by god it worked. I always loved his sheer commitment to his roles, no matter how small or silly. What a lousy week this is turning into. (:_(

 
Muppets Treasure Island is my favorite Muppets movie because of him. And his role in Legend broke my brain from sheer awesomeness when I was a kid.

Bittersweet, because he was in a pretty bad state. His last 14 years were horribly unfair. Fuck cancer, but fuck strokes too :(
 
I’m glad that Tim isn’t in his damaged Earthly body anymore. But after Tim and Dolly I feel like I need a cigarette. And I’ve never smoked in my life.

I’m just telling myself that Tim let the Queen of country have her day before he left us (:_(
 
I've been wondering a bit about why the hell I've been binge eating lately. I just turned around to the news and found Tim Curry has died. This world is getting greyer and greyer at such a depressing rate.
 
The fuck, legends are dropping like flies.

I know everyone's gotta go at some point but fuck this timeline.
 
Hello, HR? You bet your bony ass I want to file an hour-long complaint to Mr. Reaper for taking away 2 legends at the same age in less than a day.
