Stephen Hillenburg might have been the last genuine cartoonist that isn't some untalented deviant, so hearing about his death was a sincere heart breaker.
And I'm now reminded once again that the deaths are only going to get worse from here on out.
Fuck :c

RIP to my dude Charlie :feels:

I know this is the last place on the internet you want to dox yourself, but I gotta let people know how awesome of a guy he was. Back in my day, he would drive all of our school's teams to their games and competitions, everything from varsity football down to scholastic bowl and marching band. And he wouldn't just drive us, drop us off, and leave, either. He would always stay and cheer us on, willing to run any errands a coach or kid may need. He also got to know every single one of "his kids" from the stars to the bench warmers.

I was on the speech team which is where I got to know him. My senior year only myself and two teammates made it to state. We didn't need a bus, our coach ended up driving us in a van. Still, Charlie showed up unannounced to the tournament four hours away to watch us. When I was running tech for drama, he was always around to do some heavy lifting or help out with concessions. I graduated eleven years ago. He would still see my parents around and ask them how I was doing. I had heard he retired from driving, but I wasn't aware he was still around helping out. To follow around the JV girl's basketball team in December. That's dedication man.

Looking at the pictures of the bus, it's incredible nobody else died. If the driver was drunk, fuck that dude straight to hell.

Sleep tight pupper :feels:

I got a diagnosis some hours ago, his larynx was paralyzed. My mother put him down while I was at school today; she told me that he passed just as I’d texted how he was doing, I didn’t know the seriousness of what was happening. He’d just turned 10 on the 27th of last month.

I’ve never seen a dog like him. Cuddly chaos and an absolute tard. He’s missing teeth there cause he broke em chewing on something he shouldn’t have. Loved everyone at first sight.

:feels: Gonna miss ya, fat boy.

RIP to my sister's cat Shadow. He's been the pet we've had the longest. He was about 17 y/o. Today, my sister made the heart wrenching decision to have him euthanized due to illness. RIP Shadow, you've lived a long life.

RIP Nancy Wilson. (The jazz singer.)

This one makes me sad. She was my favorite jazz singer.

Mr Puds, the cat who lived with us for 8 years. He lost the ninth life to a car. I loved that fucking cat more than I love most of my relatives or friends

RIP to my best friend's 13-year-old dog. She was a gentle giant and I'm glad I got to see her one last time over the weekend.

RIP Grandma Heckler. Always had time for me, and listened to me talk about dumb shit she didn't care about. But she listened anyway because she knew I cared about it. It's going to be a way less jolly season.
