RIP Johnny Yune, who enjoyed crossover success for awhile back in the 1980s. The Korean-American actor/nightclub comic is remembered as the star of They Call Me Bruce and They Still Call Me Bruce, a couple of bad but rather innocuous 80s movies in the basic Zucker-Abrams-Zucker style of movie spoof, a mishmash of basic genre parodies, Asian stereotypes and one-liners from Yune's stand up bits, that garnered something of a cult following.

Holy shit, thanks. I just read about it and thought it was recent. Sorry.
It's okay. I had made the opposite error. I thought he died a long time back. Certainly his health was absolutely atrocious for much of his life.

One of the pharmacists my family regularly got over-the-counter meds from lost her battle with breast cancer last night.

The type of music we really don't hear anymore.

EDIT: she's the second tallest of the group in this clip.

Throbbing Gristle was an interesting band, but Genesis sounded like a bit of a cow from everything I've read about him.

RIP regardless

Dude was instrumental in starting the Industrial and EBM genres (and I am still a rivethead to this day) but he could be a complete and total prick as well as being a proto crazy tranny (sorta), no question about it. Nonetheless when you die, your successes count more then your sins and he had many many successes. F
