Our 12-year-old cat died of kidney failure today. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting to wake up to the bad news. Of course it had to be on a Friday the 13th.

RIP to my mom's 15 year old Shih Tzu Ellie. The dog hadn't been eating or walking good all week. My parents took her to the vet where she was diagnosed with liver failure. My mom just called me minutes ago and told me she found her dead in her doggie bed. Poor Ellie, she's joined her brother a Shih Tzu named Jethro who my folks had to put to sleep a year ago he had stomach cancer. May you chase squirrels with him in heaven.
