Might be PLing a bit showing people you're trading with and items you have, but it's a good topic to discuss. Though you really have the equivalent of 10k USD in Robux stuck with another user? How did it get to this point?

It was through a cookie logger. The culprit make a bookmark bar that was disguised as a verify and when he traded, it manipulated it and I unknowingly gave the items to him when I didn't want to trade.

Scammers will use exploits like cookie loggers. Telling people to fork over a pricey item for something worthless is near impossible if they're smart enough, but not everyone who is 'smart enough' knows how to not get tricked by a cookie logger disguised as something like a 'cool hat duplicating trick' or whateverthefuck they use nowadays.

People can make Robux by owning games where users buy gamepasses and/or join the game with a premium account. As far as buying stuff on the site goes, that's wayy less nasty than using USD to purchase Robux since you get 70% of the Robux people spend on your games.
Converting that Robux to USD is bad since the conversation rate is $350 per 100,000 Robux, or 35% of the Robux you earn from purchases - which is already done at a 70% rate - turned into USD.

For younger people w/o any games, the alternative is learning a beaming method and just going for stupid (see: uninformed) people. I've seen people in a few communities I'm in talk about how there was this 13-15 year old kid going around trying to scam people. Considering the guy in the video sounds like a damn chipmunk, I'm not surprised if it's true.
I try telling people that if someone is young, rich, and has no popular games that they're a red flag because they probably got their money from scamming people. If they type like they're a thug gangsta' then consider that flag crimson, because those guys coincidentally are the kinds of people to fetishize scamming on that site.


"10K USD worth of Robux" reminds me of this guy who funded some guy's group with 500k Robux (50k USD) and got pissed when he was only given an admin role. He left that group, now he hangs out with some guy with a history of killing puppies and scamming kiddies in his pasttime. It's a little sad because he was one of the guys who gave TakeoHonorable a few ideas for his eventual gear revamps like the Periastron series. The group he helped fund ended up becoming one of the biggest gear-centric groups on the site that TakeoHonorable and a bunch of other gear developers are still active in.

As people pointed out in the archival tools thread, youtube-dl/yt-dlp can do it but it still has to download the entire thing. You might as well just clip it yourself manually with ffmpeg after downloading.

Roblox has took part in damaging my cognitive ability as I was originally notorious for shitposting on their severely autistic forums. I could probably elaborate on the nature on the forums but I think it's too irrelevant for anyone to give a shit.
 
This years roblox developer conference is apparently limited to 18+ attendees, the reason for this isn't given. Most likely due to how many groomer pedo devs had been outed since last year that were present there. That and overall development of games is obviously shifting towards corporate promotions, leading to this weird amalgamation of lobbying™ for children.

I heard about this Parlo guy and he comes off as a sperg from what I hear about him. Some shit about suicide baiting and chimping out because Ruben Sim tweeted out Mister Metokur's Kero the Wolf video. Otherwise, none of this is surprising because sexual deviants and roblox go together like America First and homosexuality, still nice find nonetheless.

Two months ago, 21-year-old Daniel Diaz was arrested “for contacting a minor for purposes of committing a felony offense” after meeting with a child he contacted through Roblox. And last week, 19-year-old Faruq Balogun was arrested “for arranging to meet with a minor for lewd purposes” after connecting with a child on Roblox.

The psyop propaganda about children being groomed was already in place, it was done via two things: a chat-based application that was used for gaming, and a minecraft ripoff.

It was based off a reality show where people were chosen to complete an obstacle course and the fastest won, and the whole event was put on Youtube with slick editing, commentary and all. But the part where it gets interesting is that only 24 people were chosen at random, and these competitions were only held once a month or so. You had to wait in the in-game lobby for several hours before it started in order to be eligible for the draft, and there were usually around 100-200 people waiting each time.
So when the draft ended, you'd have hundreds of preteens losing their shit because they weren't chosen and wasted their entire afternoon waiting.
The community became so infamous for this, that when the organizer, Xrman, stopped hosting the event, because he had real life to attend to. All the videos were privated because he didn't want to be associated with it.
I know there was a Dropbox archive back in the day, don't know where it is, and Xrman takes any of the few reuploads down from Youtube fairly quickly. But attached are some remnants I could find.​

This is not the first time this has happened. On September 1, 2023, a different kid under the nickname "TheM1ndGamer" was the first person who got the same skin after beating cancer (Theo was the second one) and made a whole video talking about his story. In response, item traders doxxed him and sent death threats to him
