It makes perfect sense. Robot cops can’t fuck up and shoot innocent black people. Judges and juries can be replaced with AI. An accused types his defense into a ChatGPT prompt and it spits out an ‘innocent’ or ‘guilty’ verdict. This is the future.


The Confrontation Clause of the U.S. Constitution protects the right of people to face their accuser. The idea of this right goes back no earlier than Rome, but if an AI is deemed competent to testify, hypothetically this right may not save us from what the Future has in store.

They're not wrong: Be prepared for AI to start tracking people down better than the pigs themselves can, for facial recognition to become the norm and for the stupid robot dogs that DARPA created or drones to become part of their normal routine. I remember recently there was a shootout between some old black schizo and the cops, they used drones to end that fight much quicker than they would have without it.
Remember, this will be used against YOU primarily, not the criminals. Unarmed, law abiding citizens make for easier quotas than armed criminals who won't take your shit.
In brighter news, I expect some sort of EMP tech to disable said machines to become the norm as well, it's not like you can't make something like that in your own crackshack when people make bombs or drugs just fine.
It seems we're heading into a dystopian cyberpunk world. Shame ours is so gay and stupid, I bet we won't even get neon light aesthetic normalized(we have the NPC art bullshit instead) or our own personal cyberimplants.

Take a look at Googles nigger loving AI debacle recently.

There’s like a 0% chance that the AI won’t be modified to ignore black crime, in which case citizens will complain about their neighborhood going to hell… Or conversely, it’ll be programmed to be 100% objective and start to arrest nogs in proportion to their criminality.

In that case, (((policing experts))), sociologists and “journalists” will cry out how this AI is biased against blacks, and need to be dismantled pronto.

I like to be optimistic in the sense that, if AI is truly AI then it should make logical decisions. Even if you install WokeOS on them you'd have to gimp the computer to a point where it's basically non-functional to what it's designed to be, which is a law enforcement unit.

It's either getting an efficient AIPD or nothing.

IMO the doomerism is overstated:

* Wokies will refuse to build robocops in the first place. Conservatives will happily take the work.
* The harder you blind your AI with ideology, the less effective it becomes - you're making a pattern recognition device that can't recognise patterns. Not a coincidence that google's AI shit has been both the wokest and the worst.
* Human cops worry about going into rough hoods and decide to collect speeding ticket money from middle-class whites instead. Robots don't get scared or greedy.

You don't even need AI, you could have a rent a cop piloting a drone or a robot from the safety of his office. It's about the increase in firepower they would have, or better ability to track their targets down.

Something they already do to hilariously inaccurate results is take some DNA, have an AI company generate a face based on the DNA, then use AI to match the face with drivers licenses.

So get ready to be arrested for some cold cases you have nothing to do with.
