RPGnet Forums

Zea and Arachne are a weird bunch. Both claim to have written published RPG material, but will not say what they've written so that they don't get harassed. I'd like to know what they write so I can purposefully NOT buy their crap.

It’s been a while since I was on the site, but I know one of them did some of the White Wolf supplements. It’s possible both of them did, All of the mods I can think of who had published work before I quit the forums were either independent or involved in White Wolf.

Actually, in thinking it over, at one point half of the admins and mods were WW writers or editors. Which probably explains a lot of its current culture,

Oh for fuck's sake.

RPGnet Delenda Est

Then again, I'm not surprised that a self-proclaimed "Genderpunk" would defend furries.

The guy wasn't even specifically making a "group attack" on furries. He just simply said to be careful with any animal characters and not go all "magical realm" and cited furries as an example.

The sooner RPGnet goes under or becomes utterly irrelevant, the better. I'm sure others have already said this, but RPGnet's like the ResetEra of tabletop role-playing games but worse. RPG's are a smaller industry than vidya and so RPGnet can yield a lot more influence over the hobby even in its current self-destructive state.

Nothing is more uncomfortable than being in a session and somebody draws a little too much attention to the kinds of things they crank their hog to.

Cue some guy describing a storm giantess in a little too much detail...

Colour me shocked RPGnet mods try to use weakass obfuscation that furries are not fetish fodder. I'm sorry, the 78k pieces of art tagged 'cub porn' on furaffinity beg to differ with this statement. How much is tagged porn on FA is probably in the millions.

Meh, that's been a fetish since at least the days of Bert I. Gordon.

OH Yea, I always liked the MST3K version of that movie.

I guess I sort of understood the "gigantic woman" kitsch, but I failed to realize that people have now taken it to a whole new graphic and unappealing XXX level.

I feel like this is the story of every fetish since the rise of the internet.

Man, giant women are so tame compared to the hundreds of flavors of freaky shit that exists on the internet. There's a reason why that poster for Attack of the 50 ft Woman is so iconic.

Then again, I am pretty desensitized.

In the Delta Green: the labyrinth thread someone had to go and complain that since the book didn't suck an antifa NPCs dick hard enough it was clearly a deliberate attack.
The fact that someone made that argument shows that they really don't understand Delta Green at all

I hate furries so goddamn much. This piece of shit is just another reason. Fuck furries.

Just the presence of a young Beau Bridges in that is weirdly hilarious.

Nothing is more uncomfortable than being in a session and somebody draws a little too much attention to the kinds of things they crank their hog to.

And furries are among the worst offenders in this regard.

The last thing an RPG needs is some series of Whizzard-tier perverts shitting it up with their weird fetishes.
