An actual warranted permaban?

Check out the thread, it's pretty hilarious.
OP goes apeshit when the other posters point out he's stealing artwork from Cyberpunk RED and starts ranting about how Pondsmith is a fraud who lost everything with Cyberpunk 2077. Makes the mods banhammering actually look reasonable.

Can't really argue with them on that. Especially since it's a new account entirely used for that purpose.

One month vacation for pointing out that Ukraine's army might not be Pure & Noble Holy Warriors after all.

And a pair of 14-day bans for saying that an anime scene made them both feel like a "dirty old man". (Shocking, I know. Isn't that the whole point of anime?)

Perhaps the “dirty old man” comment hit too close to home and led to unwanted self-reflection.

Yeah, the people posting on RPG.net are a bunch of performative faggots jerking each other off about buying non-game PbtA bullshit like Sword Lesbians, they don't remotely represent the people actually out there playing the RPGs. It is not hard to find a gaming group of people who aren't screeching crazies to go and stomp on a goblin or whatever.

Unfortunately though it only takes mistakenly letting in even one of these freaks to wreck it.

That reminds me.
RPGnet has a reputation for being one of the longstanding RPG-devoted sites out there and has reviews of almost any tabletop/pen-and-paper game in its archives.
Speaking of that "almost" bit, the Goblin Slayer TRPG released in English a week or so ago. RPGnet has steadfastly continued to ignore its existence, with no one even breaking the ban on discussing it to complain about it as far as I can tell.

However I did run across this amusing bit from a thread titled "101 "my GM told me we're doing an anime game, we expected X but got Y instead!"" while I was checking:

NGL: Years ago when I was involved in TTRPG, it was a common complaint that there wasn’t more women.

(Not for breeding/creeping purposes you weirdos! Just because you know it’s cool with some female dynamics and having a WOMAN play the female character for once.)

I guess it’s safe to say that these basement fuckups have made actual women even more rare, by inviting a bunch of goddamn trannies to LARP as women.

Top tier autism!

Serious question though: Are there more women involved now? After years of “inclusivity” bullshit?

Critical Role becoming popular did more to draw women into tabletop than any WotC diversity initiative ever could

Somewhat. Your odds of getting a woman to join your game are better now that D&D is "cool", but I'm guessing participation rates fall off fairly sharply after the first two sessions.

It is all right. Most of the posters in that thread probably haven't played anything since the early 2000s, if that. RPGNetters are in it for the lifestyles and the navel gazing stuff.

Imagine the fucking nerve to mock “conservative fragility” when you clutch your pearls because the dwarves aren’t politically correct enough.

And FUCKING LOL at the cuck who makes his orks and goblins “kind and reasonable”.
