Long time poster and full time Kraut Matt.Ceb has died from complications following pancreas surgery.
Polack who moved to Germany. Good riddance, we didn't want him here anyway. The most stereotypical liberal Polack who hates his country, supports Ukraine and has that stupid half-bald pube-facial-hair-to-cope pedo-eyeglasses face they all have. It's like they make them in a factory somewhere and let them out in the wild to terrorize the populace.

Never, ever trust someone who hates his country. Doesn't mean they have to love their current government or all its works, but people who hate everything they grew up with are always mentally unbalanced. It's like dating a girl who hates her dad.

Canada is the one glaring exception to this. Nobody who loves Canada is to be trusted.

Cross post from the tabletop community thread.

Why bother posting it here?

In 2017, on RPG.net - the site that Matt McFarland was a long-time moderator of, remember? - a thread was started to discuss one of several allegations of sexual misconduct committed by people in the TTRPG industry and community that had ignited a firestorm. This thread would be carefully moderated by Matt McFarland. And someone had a problem with that.
[snip]
The RPG.net staff launched an investigation into the accusations. But it would take two years - two years - and two more allegations for the real consequences to come.
[snip]
Shortly afterwards, his wife - who was also a mod on the RPG.net and a very active participant in the community - was similarly exiled from the site as Matt had been. The site’s staff stated that she had not acted in good faith with the investigation. Again, the details are scant and mostly hearsay, but word is that she actively worked against it by withholding information from the investigators, stalling for time when asked to provide it, and generally being uncooperative.

Worse still, it was said that his wife was using her position of influence as the President of the Indie Game Developer Network to cover her husband’s tracks. She had lots of connections in the industry and lots of favors she could call in. These people were known quantities. They were respected and had been for a long time. A lot of other high profile people around them either didn’t want to believe these allegations or, more likely, I presume didn’t want the stank from the accusations against McFarland to stick to them by dint of association. I found multiple comments while doing research of people alleging that many people in the industry were warning one another about McFarland, his wife, and how insulated and protected they were from consequences because like protects like. Obviously, I can’t speak to the veracity of these claims.

Make of them what you will.

And yes he does have post screenshots in the article.

Here is the missing non-apology from Matt. The original has been deleted, but the Internet never forgets.
I have no idea if the accusations were even true, because these cucks are so pathetic that even if the accusations were completely false, they'll crawl on their bellies like worms begging for forgiveness.

What's interesting is that Matt's apology was for causing drama. He doesn't mention the merit of the accusations, or that he's sorry for them.

Somewhere in this thread I have tweets from someone who claims that Matt fathered a couple of kids with women he's abused, and he denies that they are his. Charming fellow.

I have learned from a very bad source (TVTropes) that the Beast writers later claimed that Matt had very little to do with Beast and didn't actually direct or coordinate them the writing in any proper way. There was an actual link to Something Awful (of course) where the writers make those claims. (Sorry, no idea how to properly archive SA posts)

So, uh, the abuse apologia wasn't by Matt himself, the writers came up with it themselves and he just liked it enough to keep it in the book and vehemently defend it. I don't know how that makes anyone involved in the book look better, but here it is anyway.
