RPGnet Forums

Have you seen the vid? It wasn't even a rape. The probe was stuck into the back of the robot's neck. The girl seemed ok with it at the time. Apparently, the Fembots got ahold of her the next day and told her she should be offended.

Here's their thread:

It's password-protected. I never bothered to register, so I don't know what it says. The Zak thread is also password-protected.
Wait... What? Poor defenseless robots were assaulted? Now i need to know more.

Something Awful thread:

The smirking faggots have just given Zak's lawyer a wet dream for his lawsuit against his ex wife. "Look your honor, I have in my hand hundreds of posts from relevant internet forum somethingawfuldotcom where people are repeating the defendant's libelous claims about my client, she has clearly caused irreparable harm to his business and reputation." I hope they remember the fun they had posting "lol rapist" when it turns out they cost that woman a fortune in damages.

it's pretty cute how they're pretending they're still the balsy trolling forum they used to be with their "defend yourself Zack, because we're saying you shat yourself." while suspending people for saying mongloid on the same thread.

Those faggots could'nt grill a cheese sandwhich much less a potential sex offender.

Despite what many of us think, there's still lots of games played on RPGNet, such as "Look For Something To Get Offended Over".

TL;DR: Player is a fatty chaser, GM introduces fat NPC as a romantic interest for him, people cry and get butthurt.

This is so weird. What is to get offended about?

This site is so fucking retarded. "I play RPGs." REEEEE banned.

Funny thing is, it looks like the OP was trying to get a good virtue signal in, "Hey fellow progressives, look how backwards my group is about the fats!" Only for them to tear the person up over their phrasing.
Not only that, they skipped completely over the part where the GM made the elf fat as a signal for him to try and hit on her, because she knew that he was in to fat women. He totally thought a GM putting his fetishes into the game to get him to do what she wanted was something to not only tell people about, but to brag about as sign that, no, he's a progressive feminist who supports HAES! Especially the big girls, because they turn him on!

But no, they instead went off on some bullshit about bringing up the idea that some people don't find fat people attractive 'normalising' that kind of behaviour. So they can't even have their delicate sensibilities offended correctly. There's actually something pretty solid to go after the guy for (besides being a simpering, pretentious, arrogant tool) and they ignore it to make censorship and tone arguments instead.

What is to get offended about?
Everything. When you're in the social justice clique you need to be constantly mad about every god damn thing on the planet. Everything is offensive! It needs to be changed according to a constantly updated checklist so that it doesn't even have the potential to offend anyone (except nazis or white cis hetrosexual men because they suck).
Everything needs to be turned into watered down mush so that it is acceptable to them. No deep meanings, ambiguity or reading between the lines - it could mean something really offensive to some people!

It's ResetEra for RPGs. If you actually play and enjoy games you're not welcome.
And they ruin any game they get into. Their favorite hangout is roll20 and approaching games, wiggling in, and trying to ruin it with their bullshit.

Anecdote: I have a long term player in a Pathfinder game, female who's a lot of fun to play with. At one time she played a fighter with a 20 strength and weighing 260 lbs. He was known as "The Fat Axe" around the city of Magnimar. She'd been running with the nickname for like 2 years and having a lot of fun and liked the fact the nickname struck fear into his enemies. She played it up. So we get a new player, who was warned it was an adult game and during the first session during a scene between Fat Axe and a crime boss, this new player keeps spamming "X" repeatedly. I ask the new player what the hell was with the X. Yup, you guessed it, the fucking "X" card. (I fucking hate that thing) I told them to deal with it. After the game, which is when we do a post-game assessment. That's when they went on and on and on about how rude it was for the character to be known as "Fat Axe" and it was fatphobic. They demanded we change the character's nickname to something else and even had the balls to tell my player: "You should run it by me to make sure it isn't offensive."

I told them not to come back.

You get them all the time on roll20.

"So, yeah, the game deals with institutionalized slavery like the Romans had."
"OK."
"REEEEE! SLAVERY!"

"So, the player characters are neutral evil trying to overthrow a lawful good kingdom because they dislike the tyranny of good."
"OK"
"REEEEEEE!"

"OK, so the Gods are VERY involved in the world, they pay attention to mortals and sometimes walk among them or directly intervene."
"OK. So my character's trans."
"Your God shows up and goes: Oops, my bad. <POOF> You're female now. All right, so the village celebrates that the God showed up with a big feast!"
"REEEEEE!"

Yeaaaaaah.

Wouldnt that be a good thing? I really don't get this one, the only time I've played with a trans person they commented how useful magic would be for a sex change. Good player incidently, did a lot of ground work on playing a German in terms of culture and background.

Yeah for someone who was actually trans, yeah it would be the preferred outcome. But I'm sure the person was just a virtue signaling troon

Ugh, educate xirself, bigot.

The X-card can be any card or token in a live game. In an online game, players can signal X with their arms or type x into the chat to indicate they are using the X-card, or say “X-Card” out loud. If at any time a player feels uncomfortable with content that is introduced into the game by the GM or by another player, they may use the X-card to veto that content. All other players and the GM must respect what the X-card is for.

Once the card is used, the person who used it must indicate what content made them uncomfortable. They do not have to explain why it made them uncomfortable. From there, the content can be changed, faded to black, or a short break can be taken if needed. Under no circumstances should the X-card be ignored when used.

Having an X-card at the table is not optional. If you fail to treat the X-card with respect and professionalism, you may make someone who wants to use the card uncomfortable. This behaviour is unacceptable and you may be asked to leave a game if this happens.

I'm not a bigot!

But yeah, that's some real faggotry there. (And I mean that in the biker sense.)

I'm actually a strong supporter of respecting peoples wellfare in game especially if you don't know the other players well , however the cards and their execution are grossly flawed, especially the fact they have to be uncontested. I can even see the merits of using cards for socially awkward people but the right to just overide everyone else at the table is a really bad idea. There's also a total lack of consideration for the emotional labour of the other players, having to constantly have the game disrupted is going to ruin the game for people.

I've never seen the X-Card used for a real reason that wasn't "I want the entire game to change based on my whims" by anyone.

I've had people tell me privately that something made them uncomfortable or was making them uncomfortable (I usually respect that if it's reasonable) but as for the X-Card?

Unrestrained faggotry.
