Are clans really like this nowadays?
A lot more nowadays. The most liberal clan on my homeworld wasn't full of faggots until a couple of years ago. Fast forward now and there's trannies, furries and other creepy nonces everywhere. At least 1/10 people have an overtly creepy name, examine or outfit.

My clan's great. It's full of people that went through the CoD lobby rite of passage. I guested there for a while to chat with friends, and joined after a year.

There's an OSRS kiwifarms clan, btw.

Hey hey people.

relapsed again into playing this shit. The bright side is that I only have to grind out 20 million for a bond.

Arch Glacor normal mode drops were heavily nerfed. 0 mechs is something like 1/20th of the old value. A bunch of other EGWD drop stuff got nerfed aswell.

Some rare drops are more common now, so you could try your hand at those.

Not definitive, but it could point you in the right direction.

Honestly though, GWD2 bosses should still be ok for low levels. Max out reputation and farm whatever's hot. Vindicta?

Vindi is always good. Especially if maxed zaros rep for better odds. Dragon Rider Lance/crest are worth a decent penny for lower levels because Ilujankan Components (aftershock perk) is a top tier pvm invention perk. Helwyr too cuz of cywir comps.

If you want something even more basic, K'ril is still somewhat decent money for subjugation robe drops; it's not where it was at the peak of the necromancy launch, but each piece is still a few million, and they're common enough drops for a completely AFK low-level boss. Other than that, some slayer mobs are alright for AFK grinding, or you could pickpocket HAM members for a stack of easy clues, solve them, and then either sell the rares or disassemble for fortunates and then make alchemical onyxes/hydrixes if you have the invention levels for them (not exactly "low-level" strategy I guess, but the rares will sell).

But yeah, scroll through the list of guides and see which strikes your fancy. There are still plenty of decent options for AFK or low effort money making, they just took out one of the easiest ones.

>fucking around, think "man I want a better cape than veteran's cape. I bet I can do fire cape"

>think "it'll be fine" halberds have a 2 tile range and I'll have enough sustain through my saradomin godsword/blood amulet
>waves 1-62 are a breeze, only need to actively around rarely to block the big melee guys with the big mage guys
>jad shows up
>spend a minute with auto retaliate off and redemption to figure out his attacks so I know to pray what against what(I thought I was being cool and doing it guideless)
>Ready up, charge in melee to fuck tik tok jad up
>he bitchslaps me dead in one attack because 2 tiles is still in melee range

Apparently I AM retarded and you can just force a 2 tile melee range attack by turning your run off.

It happens. I saw one the other day that said Chaos Dwarf I think. I wonder half the time how many are a joke or actual accidents.
To be fair having spent a couple of hours there I don't blame him if he fell asleep at the wheel. I think the worst part of the game is grinding xp and this while dxp is ongoing and I had copious amounts of bonus xp.

Info about the Catalyst League was posted, quick rundown:
  • Runs from September 15th to November 10th, eight weeks.
  • You have to create a new character for Leagues on your account, which I take to mean your Jagex Account (I guess I'll finally have to upgrade). No additional costs aside from membership.
  • No area restrictions like some of OSRS's Leagues have had, XP starts at 4x and scales up from there, no player trading (everyone's an Ironman!), and no Treasure Hunter.
  • Tasks range from easy to master; complete enough to unlock the next tier, giving you more relic choices and passive benefits like more XP, unlimited run energy, and faster crop growth.
  • Each tier has up to three relic choices, with tier 1 focusing on gathering skills:
    • Animal Wrangler: Gives a fishing/hunter harpoon, which lets you fish without bait, gain a 50% fishing catch rate, makes traps never fail, doubles Hunter loot, sends all fish/catches to your bank, and lets you toggle whether you want the fish automatically cooked for you.
    • Divine Woodcutter: Gives a hatchet that can burn logs instantly as you cut, or send them and birds' nests to your bank; it also deposits Divination memories straight to the rift, captures chronicles instantly, makes springs last longer, and gives double divine energy.
    • Excavator: Gives a combo pickaxe/mattock that automatically smelts ores into bars and banks them, automatically cuts and banks gems, gives more Chronotes, halves materials for artifact restoration, stops time sprites from moving around, deals extra rockertunity damage, and adds Archaeology mats to geodes.
  • Rewards include a trophy to commemorate how far you progressed (seven tiers from bronze to dragon), an outfit (three tiers), tool overrides for the tier 1 tools, a Catalyst staff and override, and more.
They'll be unveiling the rest of the relics and tier passive benefits every day starting on August 29th and going up through launch.

I kind of want to try out those leagues so that I can check out the endgame bosses, quests and gear and skills without grinding them out on this account. But I feel that may spoil them.

Anyways, found this while doing the feud

Edit: I need a safecracking equivalent to agility. God damn now this is skilling 😀

There's a new temporary currency event that seemingly exists for no reason, maybe just as filler and a way to short term recover funds after the experiments (by way of rune coins and bonds to buy the currency to get the cosmetics). It's about bees and mead. The bee names are at least mildly amusing like Liam Beeson or Buzzle Crowe, but the event npc is a hecking valid enby named Leslie I think. It's clearly just a bearded drunk dude beekeeper but there's a task where you take his samples to a few bars to let the barkeeps try the mead, and all of them use a very conspicuous "they/them" when you mention that it came from Leslie and they refer back. Could be a subtle fuck you to Mod North for axing pride but Brits are still faggots regardless. It's not like he trauma dumped his life's story about how bees are predominantly female and can change into queens when given royal jelly so like the bees he decided to change into a non binary faggot.

I'm not trying to bitch at everything I find with this game and this is probably my last post for a while since my bond's running out tomorrow, but why the hell did they make (offensive) magic only usable when you have a wand/staff equipped?
Also have the dagganoth kings always been immune to any combat style besides their weakness?
