Alternatively, Xenia Manager automatically pulls all the needed configs for each game.
Xenia Manager did not detect any of my Xenia installations, then upon manually moving the files, it failed to download and just immediately deleted all my shit
Worst fucking software I've touched in this decade
Fuck, all of my config and save data is just gone and I can't recover it

When I migrated to the Manager I operated on copies since I'm naturally distrustful of any automated management software, didn't lose anything. I believe Xenia Manager isn't designed for migration from standalone instances either.

Learn how to make backups.

I'm curious of the German version of Saints Row. What was censored for that release?
According to https://censorship.fandom.com/wiki/Saints_Row, the game was banned until a censored version was released, corpses disappear in 2-3 seconds and don't ragdoll, enemies can't be set on fire (smoke instead), civilians no longer drop money when shot, vandalism & contract killing missions & related achievements were removed, the character Mr. Wong was removed

Saints Row IV is woke. Even if you're a female character, you STILL have a wife within the pancakes simulation. Totally immersion breaking since it's supposed to be the happy go lucky, ordered 50s. And I don't even LIKE pancakes.

I know you’re probably joking but this is most likely because SRIV was a rushed title that forced to go from an expansion pack to a full game because THQ was bleeding money from dogshit like the uDraw tablet for the 360

Saints Row 1 Design Director Chris Stockman claims that he has been asked to "create a pitch for a Saints Row prequel".

Pitches can be canceled mid-production. I'd like to be hopeful, but after the last SR reboot, I take it some executive would either change course or bag it altogether.
As predicted:

Embracer declined the pitch.

I'm content with Saints Row being allowed to rest in peace. The chances of a new good game being allowed to release are so astronomically low. The PC police aren't going to let a pasty group of white guys make a game about minorities gunning each other down in the streets for the right to sling drugs and pimp hos in that neighborhood, and if they find some coloreds to develop it then we're going to wind up with a gaggle of mystery meat demi-gendered blobs pushing a "made for modern audiences" hamfisted fatherless whingefest masquerading as a critique of capitalism, racism and however many isms and obias they can fit in it. And while I hate to admit it, I feel like the culture has moved on. I don't think the kids these days want a gangsta bitch, they want a instagram baddie.

I thought of Driver '76 and Parallel Lines when Stockman pitched a Saints Row prequel. Is the 70s even looked upon as fondly as the 80s were like with Vice City? The prequel should've happened around Saints Row: The Third when Volition were at their peak and those characters were fresh in people's minds.

They had a massive opportunity with the reboot, but failed miserably. Saints Row shouldn't had been killed the way it did.

I don't think so. Disco, Watergate, the porn boom and 'Nam aren't really nostalgic for most people. Probably wouldn't make for a tremendously interesting game setting either.

I am still ashamed to admit I was actually hopeful for the reboot. All the callbacks to SR1 and 2 in IV really made me think the devs were eager to walk back on all the puckish rogue bullshit. And the teaser with all gang tags on it really convinced me they were returning to form. Then the trailer dropped and I realized I was an idiot to expect anything good to ever happen.

People in the fan base like to pretend there's another chance for a new game, but realistically you're better off replaying 2 with the increasingly impressive mods for it that have came out in recent years. The pure fact is, we are in an era where a new Saint's Row game that's decent won't ever be a reality and it isn't that surprising. I was much like FL1PPY when IV came out, the story was shit but it had mid to decent enough gameplay, but it wasn't the first time the series jumped the shark hard (cough cough SR:TT). The truth is seemingly none of the devs realized they captured lightning in a jar with 2 and seemingly phoned it in towards the end of the series. It's not like IV and GOOH were developed by complete newbies, plenty of the OG devs still remained, they just had no idea where to take the series. Hell, Volition near the end was scared to release ANYTHING that wasn't at least related to their cash cow, it's why AOM had like three straight up saint characters and why they didn't experiment like they did with Red Faction, a critically acclaimed franchise at one point.

I've said this in the thread before a couple of times, but I think Saints Row the Third tries real hard to shuck what made Saints Row...Saints Row. The returning cast is limited to four characters, and one of them is killed off in the prologue, the Boss's more brutal traits are reigned in hard, Shaundi is reworked so hard she's a different character entirely and Pierce...well, who gives a fuck about Pierce? All the other characters are given brief mentions at best, but no actual appearances (first playthrough, I assumed the getaway helicopter pilot in the prologue was Tobias, but nope) and we ditch Stilwater entirely.

I mean, I like SR3 well enough, the gameplay is fun and the flight controls improved...but its not Saints Row.

This is what personally killed the Third for me, I had fun with the co-op and Whored mode, but the boss wasn't even flanderized, they're just a whole different character in TT. The most accurate, self aware line from that game was "we traded our dicks into pussies", proving Gat was the most based by talking shit about these essentially new characters who barely even acknowledge the previous game, before promptly dying. (Or getting abducted because Volition ran dry of ideas.)
